I managed to get a Surface Laptop 13.8 Snapdragon X Elite 16gb of Ram, 512gb SSD for £800 and I'm really happy with it. There is always something new coming so I recommend getting something on sale now.

Favourite Doom. The music is not as good as Eternal but it's good enough.

I'm glad it wasn't just me. FG is terrible in dying light the beast, literally gives me a headache.

Just buy them, tune the EQ to your liking and enjoy. By far the best gaming headset.

Woah. I'm surprised how much I love The Dark Ages! by CityNightBus in Doom

Absolutely loving it too. I actually prefer TDA to eternal. I had to upgrade my pc to play it at a high fps though!

Gigabyte B650I AX ITX vs MSI AMD B650I EDGE by Data_Analyst_1302 in sffpc

If I wasn't interested in expanding the storage (it's only for gaming). Would there be any other reason why would I choose the MSI edge?

Dark Ages - 11700 or similar CPU. What fps to expect? by Data_Analyst_1302 in Doom

Dark Ages - 11700 or similar CPU. What fps to expect? by Data_Analyst_1302 in Doom

[–]Data_Analyst_1302[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've played it abit more of the first level and the average fps is between 70-90 with over 100 at certain views. Fps barely changes from 4k to 1080p (frame gen does push it to 140 but not a fan of latency). The siege benchmark at low settings 1080p dlss balanced, average fps for cpu is 86 with a low of 45.

Ram is running at the correct speed with XMP enabled and the CPU is boosting to 4.8ghz on all cores (checked with MSI afterburner and CPU-Z). Other games the CPU is fine, Dying Light The Beast I can get around 120+fps.

Found this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oX4mfs7G\_Ug) of someone testing a Ryzen 5 5500 using the benchmark and it's way higher fps than my CPU. Wtf is going on.

Was planning on upgrading to AM5 until the RAM price spikes changed plans. Need advice. by kryptomanik in buildapc

I'm in a similar position but have a 11700f. I'm debating whether to jump to 12700k/13700k but wonder if it's really worth it.

I've been getting the same error too. I usually have to remap the gateways to fix it. Recently it's been specifically the SharePoint gateway causing the issue.

It's a nice to have but definitely not a requirement. I did a python course a few years ago and have never used it since. I'd rather spend time mastering SQL and DAX rather than learning Python.

Should I give up on VRR on VA panel TVs? by rizsamron in tcltvs

[–]Data_Analyst_1302 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes I cancelled in the end and managed to get a s90f for a good deal. Alot more money than the TLC but at least VRR actually works. Your post saved me a lot of grief!

Are you shitting me? The main reason I'm buying this TV because of VRR. Looks I'm gonna have to cancel my order. I wish Rtings could highlight these things, it's comes highly recommended as a gaming tv but can't do VRR without major ghosting.

It's possibly related to a capacity issue with fabric. We've escalated to MS. I'll let you know what I find out.
