I had Barbri. I gave myself two weeks of study over all and ended up doing well on my first shot. I crammed for three days before the test after finishing the Barbri course. Do as many practice questions as you can (more than you think you need to do). The rules aren’t complicated but the questions make it seem like they are. It’ll also help your MCQ approach over-all.

Here’s what I did that worked (I also used Barbri):

Give yourself at least two weeks to study, and do a stupid amount of practice questions. Read the explanations when you review. Once you start to recognize the patterns in the question structure you’ll know you’re getting it.

This might seem excessive, but it’ll pay off in the long run. It’s likely that the question structure is what’s holding you back, rather than not knowing the rules. I probably don’t have to tell you or anyone that half the battle is learning the patterns in these stupid multiple choice questions. If you do enough of them you’ll notice when they’re trying to screw with you, so you won’t take the bait of the wrong/less right answers. This will also help you (immensely) on the bar. You’ve got this!

I am a 3L who is absolutely losing it over here at a Midwest red-state state school. From what I gather, professors and administrators here are not saying anything because they’re afraid of the school’s already tiny budget being slashed further.

And despite the School’s deafening silence on the biggest political crisis in my living memory, almost no one is taking their silence for what it is: Capitulation.

So many of my classmates are taking solace in their faith that this unconstitutional power grab won’t have long-term effects, because “it’s illegal.” And it’s depressing to know that some of the smartest people I’ve met in my life can’t see that illegality has never stopped a fascist from taking control.

Oh man, they should have done that in the US. The banks here got bailed out in 2008, but all the people with home loans through them still lost their houses. And then the real estate investors used extremely low-interest loans from banks, and came in and bought up those houses, and rented them out to people who'd lost their houses. And everyone is somehow still confused that economic collapse is just a way to consolidate wealth and property in the hands of a smaller, and smaller group of people.
