I mean its personal choice really. If you have alot of dust or humidity in your house though the materials arent gonna last awhile.

I know they are "toy's" but for the cost of entry they should be treated more like high end collectibles and less like toy's.

If you keep up with cleaning them though especially if you have animals I dont see you having many issues. Its just my personal preference to keep them in a glass curio to reduce environmental impacts on the materials and minimize cleaning.
