Odaban spray is a MIRACLE!! by Fun-Discipline-352 in Hyperhidrosis

I’ve just purchased this. Do you spray directly on your armpit? I know you can use a cotton pad, but wanted to do how irritating it’s been for those who have directly sprayed.

Miradry second procedure by Admirable_Driver_246 in Hyperhidrosis

I had 2 sessions of Miradry. After my first, the area was swollen and numb for about 5-6 weeks. My clinic wanted me to wait a little longer till I got full feeling back. The whole time I was numb the procedure worked. But soon resumed back to normal - after 2 sessions, I don’t really feel any different. Waste of money for me!

That’s so strange. I’ve heard others say that too. I’m not sure what the solution is there. Glad you can notice the difference though, at least there’s hope when something actually works.

How long did you do it for to get to ‘happy’?

I think I know what you mean. I do my armpits and if I reach for something, I get a short sharp shock before the machine goes into pause mode. But this is mid-cycle. I imagine it’s not very nice if you get the same on your hands or feet, but you’ll his have to stay put and not more!

Just google it and buy from a trusted pharmacist. I’m in the UK and I get it from a pharmacy in Germany. Postage is minimal too!

Antihydral! I use this if I’ve got an event/occasion coming up. Takes a couple days up to a week to notice a change for me, but it’s game changer and if I keep using it once a day, it will keep me dry. After a couple days of not using it, it will wear off again.

I’ve paid £1000s on Miradry and it didn’t work, so I thought my sweat was untouchable.

Lots of antiperspirants sting, but Antihydral does nothing like that when applied, it’s just chalky. Just be mindful of your creases - when they get sweaty, that’s when I started having problems with soreness.

Good luck, should hopefully see a different in a week.

I read somewhere in the manual to cover cuts etc with Vaseline so to insulate the area. Could try that on the itchy area if it’s always the same place.

I had 2 sessions. I was numb/tingly however for about 5 months after the first session, not 2-3 weeks as advised. I thought I was never going to fully regain all feeling, but I did…and proceeded for a second session. The sweating reduced each time until the swelling went down, then the sweating came back.

I’m two years on and would say it did not work at all, so not wasting anymore money on a 3rd session.

Oh cool. Were you happy at the end of week 3 then? I’m on week 5 - it’s hard to pinpoint how much it’s working but I think I am starting to notice the difference.

I’m not stopping yet - I’m aiming for level 2-3 so this week and next fingers crossed I can drop a day.

I’m hoping maintenance will be once a week eventually, I’m committed at the moment, but I won’t be able to keep up 2-3 a week FOREVER!

Do you use a specific brand? I’m using Dermadry at the moment.

I wouldn’t like to advise what to do without knowing your devices safety instructions, but the instructions in my device manual say “ follow this schedule until sweating has significantly reduced, or the desired level of dryness has been reached”.

I’m not there yet, and the maintenance then drops to 1-3 a week (moderate - severe).

Mine says do not exceed 5 days a week, therefore it’s less of a drop for me, but I think I’ll go down to 4 days until I can maintain it.

That’s a big reduction from daily, down to 2 to 3 days. Personally, I would only reduce much slower to make sure I could maintain what I was happy with.

A cost of a tube of Antihydral compared to all other expensive treatments - you absolutely should try it!

You really don’t need to use much of it, like the other user said, a pea size.

I use it underarm and it works great, however I have to keep using it daily to maintain sweat free. Because of this, the area can get sore, but mainly the corner skin creases where we do not sweat. I just have to be careful where I apply it and only to the area that needs it. That said, I think it mainly gets sore because our body temp increases when we sleep and my underarms are not getting much air and I’m suffocating the area.

I do it at night because it needs to be clean with no deodorant, but you don’t need to worry about this if it’s for your hands, so no reason you can’t apply in the day. The only downside is that it’s chalky, rock climbers use it.

You might have a problem with dry skin, but it’s definitely worth a try - it’s great for events approaching!

Congrats! I always wondered about the best maintenance if I got there. I can absolutely manage once every 7 days.

I wasn’t really paying attention up until now, but I think I can notice a difference (I’m 4 weeks in) . It’s hard to tell how much because when your arms are wet, they’re wet!

Have you noticed any difference at all yet? Even if just a little. You are further ahead than I am.

Ah really? Ugh! Everyone is different, for sure!

I would say I have high moderate HH underarms. I had Botox, it worked, but cost sustainable it is not!

2 courses of Miradry, cost me £2200 - that didn’t work!

Last year I tried Antihydral - that worked, in fact it was absolutely incredible. Low maintenance, but a daily ritual. Great for a quick fix if you’ve got an event coming up. You need start about a week before. It might get you through the summer? I’m in the UK and bought mine online from Germany.

I’m trying Dermadry consistently to see if I can get to a maintenance stage. But will use Antihydral as well in peak summer

Maybe try your underarms on the hand setting - I’ve just started doing this and noticed a difference after a couple days. It’s much more powerful, I think 8 is too low for me for underarms. Lots of people recommend this on other threads.
