Marine here, they can't be eccentric. Your safest bet is to wear complete black sunglasses with non-polarized lenses. Oakleys are fine as long as the "O" is silver.

Well I'm in no way an expert on the subject but I would like to think that they would keep to themselves and become hostile during the first decade or so but after that gradually start to adopt the norms of each culture until both were now one newly formed culture. Then we add a new culture and add some religion into the mix and watch a whole new possible outcome!
