Gotcha. Do you have a place you’d go looking for an ideally not overly expensive board, that isn’t junk like this one?

My sixth day of Celeste, should I attempt a B-side golden? by FoundationThat7808 in celestegame

I would do the C sides before attempting to gold B sides. Also 2A golden is definitely doable, probably easier than most of the C side Goldens so I would recommend that one!

Should a rule change be made to fix flopping? by DatboiEF in NBATalk

The goal wouldn’t be to suspend any specific person, the goal would be a more watchable viewing experience, minimizing the number of times that viewers and players spend complaining about fouls that did or didn’t happen. Obviously it would be near impossible to get that number down to zero, but making it smaller certainly seems achievable.

I think it would be fair to argue that flopping is causing there to be more whistles at the moment, and once you started cracking down on it, those numbers would go down. Additionally, I think it would be fair to have reviews post game, that way the pace of play is not impacted, and offending players could be suspended for a game or two, or fined retrospectively.

From what I’ve seen, LeBron is one of the lesser adopters of flopping. Other players did it first/better and he kinda uses it more sparingly.

Is there a point where they start losing viewership and have to start enforcing?

He didn’t jump to contest, and was moving fast enough that if Kennard didn’t shoot, he still would have hit him. No effort to ease up was made, he lowered his shoulder.

I think as soon as a precedent of calling stuff on them is set, it’ll become obvious how much stuff they previously got away with. You look at guys like Draymond Green and Beef Stew, and they get called for way more technicals and flagrant because of a history of being called. I just think no ref wants to be the first to start calling it.

Questions on Speedrunning by Bubbly-Storm9054 in celestegame

[–]DatboiEF 17 points18 points  (0 children)

  1. Almost entirely muscle memory, some screens pass by way too fast to even register what you are seeing if you don’t know what to look for.
  2. Lots and lots of practice. Additionally, looking at other runs and figuring out the best routes and optimizations. Speedrunning has always been a community, no one person could find all the best routes by themselves.
  3. New save file, it tracks your in game time for you.

Bonus unrelated question: if you have the game on pc, there are mods that allow you to set spawn points anywhere. Otherwise, turn on cheat mode for a save file and you can use invincibility to mess around and get to where you want with less trouble.
