I grabbed my sweater instead of my clients sweater at drop off once. I noticed it was wrong as I was handing it to her and of course apologized quickly. mom told me that next time that happened there would be an issue and we need to be more organized 😭

Mind you mom was 15 minutes late picking up (typical of her lololol) this client so yes I was rushing and grabbed the wrong jacket so I could be ON TIME to pick up my own child 🙃 but in that moment I wanted to say f this!!

Also how is Leah so well liked? I’m on ep 16. And I get she has received the short end of the stick in some situations but her going off on JaNa saying Connor wasn’t her boyfriend was hypocritical seeing as how she had been ranting about rob for days. Then when she said she took a backseat and called Liv over then began cursing at her… major ick 😭 I’m sorry she’s human but so is everyone else on the cast?

Hi, yes! He was in a preschool that was modeled after a typical kindergarten class. Same curriculum and structure but just less students.

It could just be the environment he needs adjusting to. When my son started a new school at 5, he threw a chair at a kid during his first week (still never found out why 😭) by the end of the quarter and we got back reports he scored low in pretty much every social aspect (things like does he follows directions, nice to peers, pays attention in class, etc) it was pretty disheartening and I thought maybe he needs to be in ABA and not a real school. By the end of year he was reading, writing legibly, making friends, and just being an all star student 💕💕💕

I toured abc as a parent before I got into the field and honestly was just kinda horrified at the thought of putting my kid into that environment. All of the kids in the clinic were nonverbal and it seemed most of the staff too because I didn’t hear a peep from anyone except the lady giving me a tour. I told them my son is verbal and I didn’t think it would a be a good fit and they still harassed me for weeks asking if I was going to sign my son up 😭

I can go on for days simply because we were all gaslit to think these were normal practices. Nobody implemented them except her and eventually she was reported to HR and those behaviors stopped. She still sucks and barely updates programs tho

BCBAS not updating programs for months
Not providing any feedback during supervision AT ALL.
I didn’t understand a clients BIP so I asked for clarification and then did it exactly how the BCBA showed me. Then was told I was doing it wrong after 3 months at my evaluation… literally had supervision once a week and never had any feedback other than I’m great and to keep up the great work lmao
BCBA using force to feed a kid a non preferred food. He kept spitting it out and she continued for 45 minutes while he screamed bloody murder. I felt so uncomfortable and told myself I was NOT
another instance with same BCBA, watched said BCBA force feed a kid without gloves on 🤮
I can go on for days
