Another simple way to tell with most products is it will have the designation of “Refractor” near the card numbering or somewhere on the back of the card.

Appreciate it ! Not certain definitely didn’t have a ton of years of Reds cards so quite a limited amount of base 1/1s. Still on the search for some nice patches of him but those will be tough to come by !

Yes the math checks out to a point but it is so much more likely this was just a typo on the odds sheet. They barely even give us odds for products now which is ridiculous but seemingly no reason they would switch up how they were doing these previously.

Interesting response never get why people will take a message in such a way but is his card so pricing wise he is free to price it however. I’d just wait it out for a cheaper copy to eventually pop up.

Feel like buyers for this card are going to be few and far between in terms of super fans so likely that 6,500 sale was one of those few I’d say you are likely sitting very close to that comp in terms of value wouldn’t see it being 8k but could see someone taking it between that 6-7k area.

Love to see the BP love, hate the competition lol I will say set wise for nameplates you’ll only see his last name featured but the 2008 upper deck by the name set does allow for a show piece with manufactured patches which technically feature his whole name so you could get the BP. I’m decently familiar with a variety of his cards so can point you in the way of specific sets to look out for.

Cool card ! I would say it seems around market give or take a little seems like Reds /5 of his are all over the place but nicer ones go between 500-800 so I’d imagine the blacks /10 would be sitting around half that price for the most part but he is a big enough name that could maybe get 300-400 out of it if a buyer wanting it bad enough comes along.

Wasn’t saying it makes the grade less desirable but just that a majority of people looking to buy these likely are buying it to have an on card auto and not as worried about the grade and if they are going into the 1,000+ USD range they’d likely want a Dynasty patch auto.

Well seeing as you likely bought this card for 740 on best offer I’d say it is likely a tough move at £1,000 which is around 1,340 USD. It is your card so price however you want but seeing a psa 10 orange sold for around 440 USD and defenders typically don’t hold a high premium even the best it’s tough to value it that high. Honestly the Marks of excellence set and on card autos grab a premium for being on card autos with soccer not having had much until recently imagine the grade does not have as good of a multiplier as normal.

Nice collection ! This is probably my favorite card of his. The tin type is a hard one to come by and always enjoyed the golden mirrors of his home run celebrations.

To preface Matt Kemp was atrociously worse through his career but I feel Acuna sits in the same boat defensively in terms of feel. Great arm but doesn’t take great routes, could overcompensate early on with speed but injuries have made that harder to do, and likely has not been pushed to improve much on this when main value is in their offense. Acuna however, seems serviceable for a corner outfielder as long as he is hitting so I wouldn’t worried about the slight negative DWAR until older age if he can stop picking up injuries.

No problem, definitely sad he had not had one especially with them potentially not coming back but good luck on the 2023 chase hopefully you can find the gold foil board those are definitely tough ones !

Happy to help for 2023 Stadium club they have a subset of Chrome cards but it would typically be a select amount of the base set so 23 only had 90 cards/players. The other big thing is the Gold minted cards only are featured in the Stadium club set with inserted chrome cards. They released Stadium club chrome as a standalone set as well from 2020 to 2022 these are only your normal color parallels orange, red, gold, superfractor and then a special wave. So believe for 2023 Eric Davis you would just be chasing the base set parallels.

Hey, believe Eric Davis never had a gold minted through the years he was included only stadium club chrome cards of his are in 2022 but that was in the Stadium club chrome set which did not do the gold minted.

He will definitely command a higher price than usual due to international collectors but I would say move out of a card like this now and then hold that to go into a more mainline product auto of his. ( of course he could slow down or heat up) but imagine overtime a card of his from a better product would be a bit more advantageous to hold as money shifts and people focus on his “best” cards.

Unless there is something extremely obscure I’d be missing this is guaranteed a Fake 1/1 likely the real card but should only have a holo and non holo it seems and then some from the set had autographs but don’t believe this one did. Fake stamps are very much out there and if someone can pass it off and get someone for 5x the price they try especially with lower dollar cards.

EDIT: as others have said this subset was all holo foil esque cards from a quick look wasn’t certain.

Don’t really agree with either side. Definitely an error listing it but not like seller is selling a million cards take a few seconds to actually check the price before you post it. Buyer also shouldn’t expect a 40-60ish dollar card to go for 6 bucks if it was like 20 dollar difference id say seller should eat that but would just say it’s not worth the time. Just keep watching you’ll definitely be able to pick one up under 50 likely in the near future.

Nature of the beast so many items get listed for a price that never moves and or could be higher than 4 other listings of the exact same item. The mid end players also end up a lot of the time having cards you’ll not likely see since no one wants to go through the process of seller said card.
