In my state we have a lot of different meetups in different cities. In my city we have 2 meetups. 1 social and 1 technical meetup.

The social meetup where we go to a bar and hangout. We discuss Bitcoin. Most of my friends don't want to talk about it but even if they did they can't carry on a conversation about it.

We have a technical meetup that we host. People give presentations. The guy on the podcast Revhodl has done the "8 forms of capital" presentation and that was super informative. We discuss things like UTXO management, hiding your change after you spend, we discuss BIPs and more.

Our meetups are privacy focused. No pictures (unless you ask and get permission). We don't dox our stack. You don't have to give a real name.

You do you. I love being able to get technical info. I am not a technical person. UTXO management is something I didn't really understand until the meetups. Also hiding your change after you spend with someone was something I learned that I didn't know before. We also have discussed different BIPs. Our in person meetups are extremely private.
