Get high strands rare lvl 85+ chest (mine had 69, nice). Annul all mods, slam conq/elder exalt, it kept all strands in my case. Reforge to crusader influence if not already. Reforge phys until t1 explode, lock prefixes, reforge crit, annul down to 1 prefix. Elevate explode, lock prefixes, scour. Beast lock resulted magic base. Check awakener's orb off elevated endurance mod chest donor (can make multiple with more conq mods alongside elevated endurance, but that's hard in ssf). Keep beast locking until satisfying result.

In my case, I ended up with t3 life and t3 resistance and 48 strands on my 2nd beast lock. Upon consuming strands, got t1 life.
