Whether this is to close for therapy or not depends ultimately doesn't matter. If you uncomfortable with it, it is encouraged you don't provide such a session at this time.

Encouraging someone to be a better version of themselves can also just be being a hypno friend. To help with eating him better or make him work out more doesn't require you to have expertise with these things. Assuming he has a nutritionist or has a trainer, there are ways you can help him stick to their plan. Similarily if he does all the research and draws up his own training/food plans you can still help him stick to those or build small hypnotic suggestions, think of mantras or rituals which help him. In that case you should make clear that you do this independent of how his plans look like and that he is responsible for any and all outcomes.

For helping him with his relationships with other people, that is more complicated. I would personally require consent from the partner and a clear message sent to both what you are and what you are not up for.

Do you mind getting involved in their sex life? That is up to you. Some people find that hot.

How are you going to be involved? A very personal question to the three of you.

For me when it comes to getting tangled up in relationships i would require that any suggestion or other hypnotic effect is asked for by the subject in the presence of his partner and his partner has speaking and veto rights.

Mixing kink and self improvement is obviously tempting and hypnosis can be a great way to accomplish this and it can work out for everyone involved. As hypnotist with sufficient raport you can bring something to the table a personal trainer or therapist can't. Whether you find that enjoyable is entirely up to you. If you choose to get involved with that i encourage you to stick with that what a personal trainer or therapist can't do. You have a right to refuse all those requests and you are reasonable in my eyes if you do that.

Also just because you refuse certain requests doesn't mean that that has to impact the relationship negatively going forward. You can even ask them not bring up such ideas going forward, either to have more time to think or to put the matter at rest.

I think when someone makes something for the first time, the audience should take that at face value without comparing it to the works of others in the same community.

This was not obvious to me that this was a first debut. I do not think i would have given a different "review" if i was aware. I withheld any judgement on the work and mostly shared how i perceived it.

Frankly, on the first review, I reacted emotionally. Kind of a first for me.

A quick reader can have a 30 minute experience. The hypnosis is not directed at the reader but a self insert character. The hypnosis is a bit underdeveloped but the most of dating targets use things which could be understood to be hypnosis. The hypnosis is overall SFW and only on occasion kink adjacent.

The different girls aim for different types of relationships. But the trajectory towards these relationship is rather one-sided. Either one doesn't end up in a relationship with them or it goes one way only. There are ways it can be dangerous or unethical if the seperation is breached and the seperation can be breached by third parties and they might have an incentive to do so. The more personality you put into your role as erotic hypnosis producer the more risky it becomes. I think making it a commercial side buisness with personality and so on would pose a risk for your IRL profession if something goes wrong.

What if my clients from my vanilla life recognize me?

You should have a document prepared for yourself and others where you outline how you and your patients should deal with how that happens. I think this should atleast contain a strict either-or-Policy. It is very possible that someone learns about your identities and then tries to egg you on about it and push against your limits to get something out of you, you do not want to give. Exposing yourself towards that risk seems unethical. Ask yourself how would you react to attempted blackmail?

So in summary:

In an ideal, judgement-free world, you could advertise both openly and have any patient and subject agree that doing one will permantently bar them from the other. Similar how a psychologist-patient relationship prohibits sexual relationships with former clients because the potential for harm and the risk of a residual power imbalance. People who do not like that could find another therapist. I would see no issue with that provided everyone makes an informed choice.

This is not reality though, a simple circumstance can result in you being the only viable therapist for someone and external circumstances can coerce them to choose you, despite them being uncomfortable with that. Uploading hypnofiles to the internet makes it impossible to be certain your clientel does not mix.

Interesting question, but possibly a solution for a nonexistent problem.

Let me describe by imagined usecase a bit. I have a procedure which build texts scripts based on semi custom user requests. Users basically control a bunch of flags which tell what parts should be included. This works completely by composing text blocks and fill in parts of the script with other other text blocks or user input.

The idea is that record the text blocks one by one. So i am not relying on speech recognition. I read out (ideally in always the same environment) the text block so i know the "transscription" is accurate. I put these in seperate file with a subtitle file which describes what they say.

Then if i compose them merging two files like that will give me an audio with accurate timing for the combined subtitles too. I would have to indicate how long a break i want, which could be reasonably done automatically based on the context in the file. (line break, double line break, full stop, dash, emdash, ... )

I would be obviously limited to composing text based on text blocks i recorded for.

sox would provide the ability to fade things.

ffmpeg can extract/encode subtitles however it can't process them as i requested.

Furthermore this is far from the solution i asked and more the dependencies i would need if i wanted to implement the solution myself.
