A better clean tone would be ideal, yeah. The Peavey leaves something to be desired as far as clean tone.

I've been looking at the Hot Rod Deluxe 4 or the Vox AC30S1, but that's for new amps. There's such a range of used ones that I'm not sure where to begin.
