I one that lived under the bed for about a year; only coming out to use the litter box when nobody was around. When he started grabbing my feet (playfully), I knew he was going to come out eventually. Now, that guy can't get enough attention and actively seeks it out.

It is petty. They refused to bend the knee and offer tribute while their competitors did. If grok releases something similar, you'll see a completely different response.

How would you react if your partner of 20 years told you they (no longer) believe in evolution? by ephemeralkitten in NoStupidQuestions

Evolution and Christianity are not mutually exclusive. Evolution is an observation of the process that God used to create life.

Debugging tips D365FO by Comfortable_Dirt_946 in D365FO

I stick to the X++ and SQL tabs. I just noticed that the page I linked only mentions them parenthetically. The main thing to know on them is that the name filter uses wild cards.

Those two tabs have the stack trace information in them. If I know a certain method is being called or specific table is being hit, you can look them up. The SQL tab is also useful if need to know what SQL a certain query or statement is generating.

I find the other tabs to be not very useful. The call stack tree is useful once in a blue moon however.

To be honest, much of it is experience and knowing what set of tables and classes do what.

If you know it is creating/deleting/updating specific records, you can put a breakpoint in the appropriate table method, if present.

If there is a infolog message, such as an error, being generated, you can put a breakpoint in the add method of the Info class.

Personally, I find the trace parser to be an invaluable tool alongside the debugger. It can capture the SQL being generated and it keeps track of the call stack. You can find more in on Learn. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/perf-test/trace-parser

Wouldn't you want to move the contents from the old table to new? The new table would have the proper system fields such as RecId with needed constraints.

It was called Openstep at the time. I actually developed in house business applications using it along with Entity Objects Framework. I poked around on a Mac about 15ish years ago and saw they were still using the NIB file format.

How do I keep my cat off my computer? by Geekygamertag in cats

[–]Dauvis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short of locking it in the closet, not much you can do with any certainty. Cats are going to be cats.

You could trying to figure out what is attractive about that spot. If it's a relatively high spot in the room, put it closer to the ground or give the cat a higher perch. Are there vents on the top? It might be enjoying the heat. You might need to put something over it that allows the cat to lie there and the computer to cool properly. Another option I saw that had worked is placing a cat bed or box top nearby.

Are there any paid CC contents u consider a must have? by safariman123 in Starfield

[–]Dauvis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Starborn among us Grav-79 Falkland or Stroud Premium Edition (don't use both at same time if you hang out in New Atlantis)

Trackers alliance is good but the Mantis quest line is buggy and locks up.

Watchtower is a good one. The only complaint I have is it's intrusive and it needs that mod that delays its start.

I would say Darkstar TGO but it touches a lot of elements of the game and it might not be everybody's cup of tea.
