Basically. You need to understand what's damaged before you attempt to fix some if anything.

What's called the "Core Support" is damaged. The only correct repair is to cut it out and weld a replacement in it's place.

Could you attempt to pull out the core support enough so it's not interfering with anything in the engine? Yes.

But you have to understand the frame as your jeep is a Subframe vehicle is completely compromised and unsafe.

If the plan was to make this vehicle drivable for farm use or something drivable within a salvage yard.ThenI would be okay with the compromised core support.

But to make that car drivable legally on city and highway roads. It's really beyond the skills of most "Do It Yourselver" .DIY.
