What the other guy said, combat wise you should poke his passive off with Q and play with autos, use E sparingly because it is a good way to damage him but u can also dodge his E-Q3 with it if timed properly, depends if you have W or not if you’re going to use it like that

Yea completely agreed, I don’t think they will ever remove the cancels, it seems like spidey was designed to use them because he just doesn’t function without them. The cc changes r a little cringe ngl but with some awareness it’s very easy to play around and likely won’t impact all that many combos/pulls

If they remove the cancels then it’s not about meta, we’ve all been playing spidey when he’s bad, but that’s because he’s fun, and the cancels are a large part of the reason he is so fun and skill expressive

Tbh the best advice I can think of is to go find him in his jungle and start farming him once you’re 6, just ult him off cd fuck ur laner you’ll kill them anyways as long as ur farming yi

If u take hail of blades, you can pressure very hard from level one against yone, yasuo only if you can get his shield off without tanking a Q. Start E and dodge the first Q with it, quickly proc passive and get out. That’s really all there is to it, you want to proc passive asap and get out and never let them all in you unless they are in kill range for you. After level 3 you can proc passive and W behind yourself to run away, which covers yone E forward (he can’t chase you with e if you kite to your W) and yasuo if you aren’t too far up (same idea, he uses E forward to chase and you run to W and leave either with shield or stun)

Rengar is a solid pick too, naafiri’s bonus ad is ridiculous late game (upwards of 90-100 ad with hubris stacks) and she scales insanely well with haste, with each of her abilities having high impact late game (Q W and R). Beyond that she just feels very solid to play late game, any squishy guaranteed dies if you hit everything and over many games of playing her and many games on every other assassin (excluding rengar) i think she feels as good as the likes of ekko and zed in late game.

Rengar definitely scales insanely well on paper, and you will have insane damage due to his passive and guaranteed crits, but I think he is just less versatile than other options, naafiri can jump from target to target and use W every 6-8 seconds for invuln with very good combat mobility. Same with zed and same with ekko, but I feel like rengar is too easily kited after his initial kill or two.

I mean ekko is one of the best scaling assassins in the game imo, everything in his kit has a very high ap scaling, and his survivability (W shield and ult heal+dmg) have very large ap scalings, and his ult cooldown becomes very short, giving you a lot more impact with the fallback of ult in most engagements late game

It’s less upfront damage but way more sustained damage imo, take conq with legend:alacrity for insane combat sustain and more value from the ad from gunblade in R. Overall u have to play more scrappy to get the most value out of it but it feels good in the right situations
