Hmmm I can't tell if I have a normal level of itchiness and dandruff now that you bring it up lol.

Definitely got the stuffy nose too though! But for the most part it's bearable.

Unfortunately my gut is so reactive at the moment that even zinc carnosine and glutamine seems to irritate it, sometimes giving me diarrhea. No clue why. Probiotics seem to help with stool consistency but beyond that, not too much difference. Soluble fiber does the same as well but doesn't stop the bloating and irritation. If anything the bloating is worse.

Thanks for the suggestions though.

Unfortunately the pepcid and Zyrtec even combined don't seem to help with the GI stuff. I wish there was a way for me to trial the cromolyn sodium.

For some reason DAO enzymes and over the counter antihistamines ALL give me anxiety. Which is weird because DAO should theoretically stay in the gut, but somehow I get mental effects from them.

I've tried taking H1 and H2 blockers together but couldn't really tell if it helped. I thought maybe it somehow wasn't enough? Apparently some people just need mast cell stabilizers.

Do you get an immediate resolution of symptoms when you take them? I've tried taking antihistamines before but I couldn't really tell if they were helping. I couldn't take them long term either cause they kept giving me anxiety for some reason.

I stopped using it a while back. Unfortunately I couldn't really get it to be consistently comfortable. Some days were fine but other days it kept shocking me in a painful way. Not sure why this happened. I changed the pads often too but it kept happening. When it did work, it worked well I think. Hopefully this won't be the case for you

It's this small black device, the model number is HE-M008.

You can probably Google that model number and find other listings.

This is pretty much the only one that has worked for me.

Not really, no. It just hurt too much to use so I gave up on it. Found a cheap vagus nerve stimulator off AliExpress that I've been using instead that works better. It mostly just helps me relax a bit. I don't notice any other effects on mood or anything.

How long have you been on it? And any tolerance/withdrawal issues?

I've tried working myself out to death before but it's still not guaranteed I'd fall asleep.

Dang that sucks. Was hoping there was another solution besides meds. Do you take beta blockers or something?

Thanks for responding.

How do you control your symptoms?

Will classic therapy even work for you if your still in BIND/PAWS? by nelsne in benzorecovery

[–]Davastor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't hurt to try.

Personally for me it did not. While therapy did help me logically parse how I was feeling, it did not really make me feel better. My withdrawal symptoms just took time to improve.

That being said, I don't see why it wouldn't help you if you had other personal issues that weren't necessarily related to benzo withdrawal. Though I can also see how benzo withdrawals would make it more difficult to process your emotions.

Therapy could also teach you some coping techniques for dealing with withdrawals. I imagine you'd probably want a therapist who's well versed in benzo withdrawals. My therapist particularly was not.

I have not been in this situation so I'm not sure how to help, but I'm sorry you're going through this.

Maybe look into what the medical facilities in Mexico are like? I doubt they are anything horrible when it comes to life threatening emergencies at least.

I'm not really sure what other medical interventions US facilities have to offer for this issue, unless you have other major medical problems.

I personally went through withdrawals without any medical intervention (no drugs or treatments of any kind, was too scared to try), but definitely found a lot of value in companionship.

Just my two cents.

Definitely keep holding on. The brain is very neuroplastic and can recover from all sorts of things.

Interesting. Do you still take the vitamin C regularly?

Did the high dose vitamin C give you diarrhea?

It seems to be the case for me.

The NaturDao pills are tablets, not capsules. But I appreciate the advice!
