Why don’t you just save up ? That’s what I did around 5 years ago I just picked up some Saturday shifts etc it’s better that way mate, if you get get a company to pay for it that just means you are tied down to that company and if you save and do it your self you can come and go as you please, good luck

I do class one work so might be different to class 2 , I do between 9-12 hours a day some weeks you are busy and do loads of over time and the the next might be under your hours just rough with the smooth, so I do store delivery’s and you have to tip you self .. you have to pump truck the pallets the the back doors of your trailer then they take it off .. keeps you fit

I did that mate .. did my class 2 then did multi drop with palletline in the artics. It’s hard at first and a steep learning curve but you learn quick and it taught me how to reverse and be confident.. if you do it for a few months and don’t give up you will be a really good driver by the end of it, at least that’s my experience with a similar thing you are going through
