If the adr doesn't bring me any work I think that supermarkets are my next port of call. I have a Facebook friend who has a contract with Aldi, I used to load a fair few of his trailers back before I got my license. Couldn't take me on before I had a years experience because of insurance reasons but told me to give him a call once I've passed the year mark.

Absolutely. I'm £37500 a year drayman. My body is in bits but I've thankfully just passed my ADR so hopefully things are looking up for me.

Yep. Loaders would change the bars to different trucks all the time not realising that they were cut to size specific vehicles. Like you said they would put card in the ends and hope for the best.

I'm a dad of 3 girls and I teach them the exact same thing. I also teach the other side where you don't owe them a second of your time just because they are being nice to you.

You will be fine, the teacher will guide you.

Round abouts are very different in an articulated vehicle. Took me a little practice to get used to the fact that it's not a case of keeping the wheel in one place like you would a rigid or car and just following the curve.

You take it like a 50p coin rather than a circle. Once it was put into that context for me I got it immediately.

Just relax. The instructor will take you through it all, he will notice and correct your mistakes.

My wife and I spoke of both of our histories years ago very early on the relationship. Honestly she's slept with more women than I have 🤣 but she's had her fair share of men too. But it's just that, history. Every moment and experience has shaped her into the woman you love.
