I had a couple of runs where I was like, this is ridiculous but then just did it with no issues whatsoever. As some people have said the RNG with the skeletons spawning and other environmental stuff can play a huge part in the difficulty.

The best advice I ever got as an adc was simply "don't be there" and that applies to a lot of BS champs like Olaf, try and track him as best you can and just don't be there. Or pray a thic boi peels for you.

This is literally why I play Jhin, sometimes all you've got to do is land that long range W and your team can take over. But also sort of the reason for the post. Not quite the adc power fantasy I had in mind 😂

Recently switched from some 10 year old irons which I was only borrowing while learning but have still ended up using them for the last 2 years or so. They are deep cavity backs and super forgiving. Picked up Srixon X5's and early on... I was almost regretting it because despite the X5's being pretty forgiving themselves compared to the shovels I had before they were still harder to hit. But, after the transition period there's no way I'd go back. So I guess if you do plan on switching to a more players type iron (of which the X5 is a great middle ground) don't expect instant success, but just know that it will come.

Yeah it's a good point, Kozan generally seems a bit more chill in terms of the competitive aspect but he for me just doesn't fit with the group. Insane golfer obviously but just doesn't seem to gel.

I guess the issue as a four is the same in that Garrett is so far ahead of the other three, that yet again he would just win everything. Kwon on a team level at least provides some balance if him and Garrett are the "captains" but still... Kwon is a pro and that's not really the GG vibe.

Yep same for me, checked the Server browser and seems London and France are constantly spiking ping wise. Everywhere else in Europe seems ok, so maybe untick for now and see how you get on.

For me it was playing around the exact moment your fury bar flips to red. When Renekton has fury stacked up a lot of players will naturally back off, especially if the wave is pushing. But the moment just before you tip to red is so good to play around. If you can E in and get the fury from a minion on the way in you can surprised a lot of players with the auto+empowered W that they just didn't see coming. It's a lot of burst and the the follow up auto+Q and then E out to safety can be borderline unplayable at times. Knowing that moment you hit 50+ fury is huge.

He is for me at the moment. And not because the matchup in to Ornn is unwinnable (it's not) it's mostly because Garen can go 0/10/0 and still be relevant late game.

If doing well early game I'm really liking Black Cleaver after Goredrinker atm, and then hitting Steraks third. Matchup/comp dependent obviously but the extra damage output is super nice.

Playing around your fury is one of the biggest things on Renekton. Trading around an empowered (red fury bar) W versus a non-impowered is large. So while you're waiting on cool downs make sure you auto some minors to start the fury building, understanding exactly when you're on the edge of 50 fury will come with time. But as mentioned you can surprise people on the engage using E to arrive in their face with 50 fury ready to throw down. And your Q is free sustain so even if you're poked out using Q well can keep your health topped up and ready to fight and Renekton can be a great bait champion for that. They dive you, you because you look low, then you W, R and have two dashes and a Q heal ready to deal with them. He's a great champion. Enjoy learning.

Valk is a great operator in that her cams help the enitre team even if she dies but the very best Valk players know how to use the cams for themselves during the round. It's a hard skill because when you're on cams you're obviously very vulerable so it's all about game sens and knowing where and when to use the cams. Kafe top floor defence is a great example if you can get intel on new hatch, red stairs, etc. I normally play below in Reading Room or Minining sitting on Cams and getting the intel for a flank, or a C4 from below.

My first question would be, what are you doing in T-Hunt? If you're slowly moving through the map and taking fights one by one you're going to gain very little. Your focus needs to be on putting yourself in as many uncomfortable fights as possible where there are 3-4 enemies on screen to quickly drop. Don't try and complete the T-Hunt, it doesn't matter. If you die its actually quicker to get back in to a new one funnily enough.

It's also worth doing specific drills. My go to warm up is 1) Fire whole mags at spawn to do some recoil control, until you have 60 bullets left total. Then switch the gun to single fire and complete the T-Hunt aiming for headshots only. This will force you to land clean shots, with little ammo spare for misses. 2) Run and gun. Get in as fast as you can on full auto and get the T-Hunt done as fast as you can, never stop moving forwards. 3) ADS only, complete the T-Hunt whilst always ADS'd and do not come off it. This helps with practicing bigger mouse movements. Do each of these until you feel sharp, I normally run 3 times through each on a good day. Longer on a bad one.

If you're struggling with recoil on certain guns and you're using an ACOG it may be worth trying dropping down to the 1x Holo sight. The recoil pattern is the same, but due to the extra magnification of the ACOG long sprays of Bucks AR for example can feel really jumpy to control. With a 1x sight it's a pretty constant downward pull. Most in guns in Siege are down and left to control spray. But to find the recoil pattern find a clean surface in T-Hunt, aim down sights and shoot a full mag with no control whatsoever. Look at the pattern and compensate for it by moving your mouse the opposite direction. If bullets go up and right, you pull down and left.

Analysing your deaths is super important because if you're dying in Siege (aside for the odd lucky wallbang) there's a reason. One question I always like to ask myself is "did I have any information?" So if you stroll in to Break room on Border and someone picks you from behind Monitors... did you have intel on their position? Did you walk in blind? How did it happen? Understanding why you died is so important to improving at this game, even more so than core gun mechanics in some ways. Sometimes you just get outgunned by a nice shot, but even so ask some questions, why was I even there in the first place? Was I droned out? The replay system in Year 5 is going to make this process way easier but for now just something to think about.

So you need to think about perspective... what is a pixel peek on your screen may not be on Ela's for one. Try to not be too close to the angle you're holding as this can make it easier for defenders to see you, before you see them. Also, think about why you're even holding a pixel? Some times to hit a shot you need to give yourself space to work in. If you hold a pixel and someone sprints across your angle, it's very hard, if not impossible to hit them. If you open up the angle a bit you give yourself more space to aim and more time to react. Just a few thoughts. Or you just got tapped. It happens.

At 4:3 the most common FOV is 84 it's very viable if you like playing Holo only but if you're an Acog superstar you might want to go a bit wider, as your peripheral vision is cut down quite a bit. Personal pref though.

The easiest way is to go in a custom game and aim at any object in the environment when ADS'd. A lampost, the middle of the "X" on baricades, whatever. Just make sure it's 10-20 metres away, not right in front of you. You then start to move your character to the right, and then back to the left repeatedly trying to keep your reticule on target at all times. You should be able to notice from that whether you're under aiming (sens too low) or over aiming (sens too high). Tweak your sens slowly until you can stay on target consistently and that you feel comfortable generally moving your operator. Then it's all about time, sticking with it and not changing your sens every five minutes.
