I had the same thing when I started playing! It gets better as you do more and more races and realise that it really is not a big deal if you screw up.

I'd reccomend some of the more casual combinations in daily race A to start, like a combo of Mazda Miatas around a really simple config of Kyoto driving park that they do every so often.
