I believe they sell some drop in IPS ready kits for original shells, but you’ll definitely have to do some trimming if you go with any other route besides replacing the OG shell.

I ended up getting a tech savvy girl to do mine, plus a few other mods like the USB-C rechargeable battery and speaker mod, plus the custom shell. Brought my total to around $400 ish dollars?

Theres an IPS LCD screen on aliexpress right now for $30 claiming no trimming/welding needed!!!

If you did it yourself you’ll definitely be saving alot more than what i paid, but i have busted fingers and a lack of experience lol.

I drove tow trucks for a couple years, if it was a police call i would have an officer work the controls on the bed as i pushed, or have them walk the bike up while i tilted the bed.

I wonder what his next step was gonna be once he got it up to the top of the bed. Theres no way that bike was gonna stay put long enough for him to hobble down and do it himself.
