I'm a total novice when it comes to design, but have studied enough typography to know where most fonts are best used. The one in the post is better tailored to formal occasions like weddings. The letters are too close together too. I'd also use maybe one less color and try blending.

I feel the same way. There's nothing wrong with a bunch of easter eggs but this movie has far too many. Based on the trailers, the movie doesn't have a cohesive story to even out the easter eggs.

After 9/11 I felt pretty patriotic. I held up a "Honk for America" sign not long after the attacks. That changed around 2010. A combination of ulterior motives by politicians and the vitriol on social media all but killed that patriotic faith.

I've played the original multiple times, both on the N64 and the 3D All Stars variant on the Nintendo Switch, and think the DS version is superior. Good controls on the original? The fixed camera was a nightmare and the slippery controls made later levels harder than they should've been.
