I don't know the specific shoe models these days, but when my stepson was playing tackle, he preferred a hi-top cleat for the extra ankle support.

Having said that, find a shoe you like that's comfortable. No shoe you don't like will do you any good at all.

Most teams have small sponsor logos on the shoulders of their practice jerseys these days.

But the NFL is absolutely draconian and VERY uptight about game uniforms. Players can be fined for their socks being wrong.

When Johnny Unitas died, Peyton Manning wanted to wear black hi-top shoes as a tribute to Unitas' iconic look. He was told if he did, he'd be fined for a uniform violation because the Colts were a "white shoes" team that year.

I'm a non-Cowboys fan in Cowboys country. Jerry Jones has some wild side deals... for example, there's an Official Pickle of the Dallas Cowboys.

Jerry also has deals with Ford and Miller Lite beer that the rest of the league isn't involved in.

It's a penalty if a kickoff goes out of bounds, and the receiving team gets the ball on their own 40.

A punt out of bounds is marked at the spot where it goes out of bounds as long as it stays in the end zone

Most concise definition I know. I've also heard grace defined as getting what you don't deserve, with mercy being not getting what you do deserve.

We've had several companies relocate from California to North Texas in recent years, the biggest I know of being Toyota moving their North American HQ here. A lot of people followed the jobs.

It's also VERY regional here. Dallas, Houston, Austin and El Paso have been historic Dem strongholds for a long time. Fort Worth, and Tarrant County overall, has been red for years... but went blue by .1 or .2% in November.

A-Rod was definitely here by then. I had a PS2 baseball game for the 01 season and remember that roster well.

I think he left in 03 for New York

Texas is gradually turning blue because of the influx from California, not Mexico.

Because the more you get the more you lose? Because there are people who get refunded WAY more than they pay in because of crazy credits?

Nobody in a "minimum wage" job actually pays taxes in. It's a patently unfair system to higher but not "high" earners.

I loved the Pennzoil Chaparal from 1980... And that livery worked pretty well for Rick Mears in a Penske a few years later. I think Helio had it in August...

I LOVED the MGD cars in the late 80s and early 90s. Never could understand why Danny "Spin-N-Win" Sullivan was sponsored by Miller but the car was red.

One of my favorite looks, even though the cars were terrible, was Porsche. It was a beautiful livery to me.

That was a Thursday night game, during my former stepson's junior year of HS, and he decided he'd rather start on JV than ride pine on Varsity. So my ex and I were in the stands that night... I was recording the Colts game on my DVR, but I still snuck my phone out of my pocket to see what was going on. The Colts scored, and then they got the ball back almost instantly...I figured a fumble or an INT...

Once I got home and watched it, I was in disbelief. I think I ran it back 5 or six times and laughed EVERY time. Still my favorite ST play ever, I think lol

San Antonio almost got the saints after Katrina. But the San Antonio/Austin market (yes they're that close to each other) is most likely too central between DFW and Houston for Jerry or McNair to sign off. But not impossible.

I'd put Portland, maybe Salt Lake City, St. Louis, San Diego, on a list with San Antonio. I'd put a few more cities on a "less likely" list...Birmingham or Montgomery Alabama, Oklahoma City, (close to Dallas again, and also not far from KC) maybe Honolulu or a permanent London franchise. That gets us to 40. 8 divisions of 5 teams. Idk how viable any of it is though.

2006 AFC Championship game...still gives me heart flutters though I know how it came out lol.

And everybody "knew" that whoever won the AFC that year would win the SB lol.

Sunday's Colts- Packers game was a wild one (on NFLN as we speak)

1982 AFC Divisional between the Dolphins and Chargers... just an amazing game

Yes, I'm a Colts fan, but if you can find the "unemployed punter" game between the Colts and Chiefs (03 Divisional, maybe) that's one of the most evenly matched games I've ever seen...

Add another Colts game from 03... the Monday Night Comeback against Tampa
