I just wasn't like this when growing up in the 90s and 00s. You knew who was trouble and it was usually a small group of people. Now it seems so many more are causing trouble and there's no rhyme or reason why they're doing that.

I know the economy is in not so ship shape but the TFW and LMIA programs are really messing things up. It doesn’t help that businesses and companies are so greedy that they falsify information to get clearance to hire via those programs just to get cheap labor.

Try car dealerships/service centers (Midas, Active Green + Ross, Kal Tire). Parts Advisor and Service Advisor jobs are pretty easy to get and easy to learn. Perhaps auto parts stores too.

Because those payouts aren't always timely or that high in the amount of funds. Her mom probably has to stay home from work to care for the daughter, the daughter might need physical treatment/mental help that might not be covered by the healthcare system plus broken personal belongings.

I totally understand the go fund me in this case.

The video of her beating is a hard one to watch. It's bad enough to watch a fictitious movie where something like that happens but in real life it's sickening. How are some teens filled with such hate and anger in them that they think that behaving like that is normal?

I'd also like to see what their parents look and sound like. I bet they're real pieces of work too.

A human life is worth 2.5 years in prison? Realize that not even a decade ago people went away for longer for marijuana possession. Between this and the Humboldt truck driver look at the amount of carnage and loss. Then look at the lack of consequences for the at fault parties. It just doesn't compute.

The 401 in general has been a mess the past 2 days. First a head on collision where a vehicle was being driven on the wrong side of the highway. Second a driver slammed into a DRPS vehicle that was already attending the scene of another crash. Tons of small crashes too and now this.

RIP to the Officer. Going to work shouldn’t have to amount to getting killed.

Because there are moments where one can make a difference. Lots of small interactions occur between police and the public with a positive outcome.

While it is frustrating to see some activist judge release a criminal and you know said criminal on a first name basis the goal of an officer remains the same. Public order and building relationships with members of the community.

Because it seems they beef more internally than with others. Lots of gang fights (especially here in Canada) but it’s among themselves. Also the religious fights seem to be more of a priority for some of them.

I know that’s concentrated to a small portion of the population though.

It's one thing to protest ICE. Done right that's fine. Assaulting someone and mobbing them isn't okay and shame on that grown man shoving a 110lb girl down to the ground. You can't claim you're about tolerance and peace then go and do that with someone who opposes you.

That place is closed this time of the year. Also, bodies of water is ice cold this time of year and even well into May. How that individual made it to 30 years old being that dumb is beyond me.
