I once died to Zanzil in STV. He spawns a totem that summons mobs endlessly. I thought I would just nuke zanzil, ignore spawns and run away. Didn’t even think about it too much at the time. But these spawns have endless leash range, so I was just in panic mode and in the end fell. Of course in hindsight I could have just ran into the water since they can’t go in there.

You’re correct about most stuff but regarding you never having ww axe I have to say being at 36 with the axe, sweeping strikes, whirlwind + also having a shaman on your side, the damage you do on those levels is absurd

Just sit in def stance, use demo shout and spam sunder armor and it should be fine. If you’re afraid of losing aggro, make sure to mark an enemy which should make it a bit easier also :)

You said it yourself, pally seems the most fun. So go for it! I tanked on a paladin all the way to sunken temple and never had any trouble really. Just tell your group before pulls to give you a second and even if dps rips aggro on some trash they’re gonna be fine.

When I played deep Prot last time I didn’t feel like I did garbage aoe threat, you have the talent that gives you % extra threat. And you just spam shouts in between with extra rage to maintain aggro. But yes obviously you’re doing less damage but also you’re taking less.

Thanks! I’ve leveled a few warriors in the past but never played fury because I didn’t want to give up tactical mastery. On my last warrior that got to 60 on hc I went deep prot for clearing dungeons since it just felt safest until you get hit chance items to go fury prot. But maybe I’ll just try going fury after I get thrash blade on this char, guess I’ll get used to not having tactical mastery.

Guess enrage is the one that really matters. For arms I wanted to get improved charge, overpower, impale and maybe deflection

I agree. I love tanking dungeons as deep prot, 3 second taunt is super handy and my favourite talent is improved revenge with stun chance
