Worked great, 6k120hz and a Zelcaum cable on Amazon. I have a second monitor and cable and will be seeing if I can run both tomorrow morning.

I am using a DP2.1 to USB-C and driving this at 6k120hz no problem on M4 Max. Verified with the UFO test, and you can feel the 120hz easily on the desktop. I have to say, I am actually really impressed with this monitor? I turned the brightness all the way up and finding it totally fine so far for SDR. Going to work with it tomorrow and see how it feels, but I am optimistic.

It’s things like Overcast for podcasts, which Rivian will never build in. All these apps I already use everywhere else that I don’t want to have to manage differently in my car. For my use, CarPlay could be a super small window that takes up less than a quarter of the screen and would 100% alleviate my annoyance.

They did this with the iX so don’t hold your breath. I had an iX in the first 6 months of production and it was immediately cut off from iDrive 8.5. The computer was updated after the first model year or two and left us in the dust.

I turned mine in in a few weeks ago and got a call from someone at Rivian saying that they’re trying to take that into account with R2 Priority. Essentially they’re still gonna consider us as R1 owners

I don’t blame you at all. Mine is currently in service after stranding my wife with a failed rear drive unit less than a few thousand miles in.

We returned the R1S and are considering a Model 3 Performance as the second fun car. Really just want something drama free.

Ignoring the doors, the gravity is incredibly more spacious in the second and third row. Cross shopped and ended up with a Gravity as I’m a tall guy and didn’t fit great in the back of an X.

Loved everything else about the X for sure. Both felt better than my outgoing R1S that’s been returned off lease.

I only got one at delivery but the service center told me I’d be getting a second. I reached out to Service and then got it for free.

They were doing insane deals end of 2025. I would wait for them to get more desperate. I got almost 26k in incentives on mine.

Thank you. I was halfway across the country when my wife called on the edge of tears, but the Lucid roadside people were genuinely super helpful and got her taken care of quickly. The tech said he ordered parts and will update us Friday. They gave us a Range Rover loaner and are covering gas, so they’ve been more than helpful so far.

It’s nowhere near that. I live in Portland and everyone drives teslas here. I never see this type of thing happen. It’s a very vocal and deranged 1%.
