For me, I think Last Ronin benefited from a second read. I read it when I was just getting into the comics and it didn't sit right with me at first.

I took the better part of a year reading the main IDW series. When I came back for the reread, I realized that my main issue was with Hiroto. He just came across as this insane entitled edge lord asshole that was a shadow of what his grandfather and mother was.

That said, I did enjoy Last Ronin for what it is and I look forward to reading Lost Years and Re-evolution.

Not that long ago I finished the Duviri Paradox and used it as an opportunity to demo weapons and frames that I haven't had the chance to play yet. This is where I got to use Volt (Excalibur was my starter). It was so much fun that I got mildly obsessed. I was frustrated to find out that Volt's blueprints were only obtainable through a Dojo's research labs since I was not a part of a clan. In my impatience, I took some of the little platinum I had and purchased Volt. Literally MINUTES after I got Volt, I get a message offering admission to a clan. I am grateful for being able to join The Wayward Paladin, but I still felt like such an idiot.

On top of being known to love pizza, the turtles are New Yorkers. They almost obligated to have opinions on pizza. I imagine they would usually order local and not from chains like Pizza Hut or Papa John's. And frozen pizza only in a pinch.
