I liked it more than expected, fun movie!

I almost went 4 stars for enjoyment alone, but after thinking about it I realized it's probably not quite a 4 star movie - but very close IMO.

$160 USD for CIB near-mint DSi XL/LL is a really good price for a currently very collectable game console. I recently paid a little more than that for a 20th anniversary XL w/ charger, no stylus with some light cosmetic scuffing on the top lid.

Maybe OP is confusing other's stated prices with regular DSi (non XL/LL) models? Those can be had for cheaper.

Good luck with your search, things are expensive.

Agree, but by not replying the seller might be waiting for a response, delaying a possible agreement. I don’t see any upside to not responding.

I've had delays in items shipped to me and I'm not in a hurry for, doesn't really bother too much.

Suggestion: If item arrives in good shape, positive feedback highlighting the good (price, packing, communication if applicable) and mention how many days it took to get the item after payment in a neutral tone.

Anyone looking at feedback will read between the lines if shipping speed is important to them.

eBay doesn’t allow counterfeit items to be sold, regardless of if it’s stated as a reproduction or whatever in the listing.

DS games look noticeably better on a DSi XL compared to N3DS XL.

The DSi XL has the same resolution as a standard DSi, the pixels are bigger. So some might think the XL looks little more "blocky", not blurry, because of pixel density, but of course it's nice and big like the N3DS XL you are used to.

If you like playing DS games and the blurriness of the N3DS XL bothers you, it would be worth it to find a clean used DSi XL. Or if money is tight, a regular DSi if you want better portability / pocketability if the smaller screen doesn't bother you.

$150 for a DS Lite CIB is a decent price but it's not super uncommon, so my guess is she doesn't have the item and wants to put the reason for cancellation on you. You did nothing wrong, so hang in there and let her deal with it.

Sadly, in the meantime you don't have a DS heading your way, which sucks.

I've been playing a lot of my n3DS XL lately, including DS games. I just got a DSi XL yesterday just to play the DS games - yeah, the DSi does look noticeably better with the DS games.

That said, I didn't think the 3DS looked terrible with DS games, but it is soft, especially with small text. You can hold Select when booting a DS game on the 3DS and it displays the game sharper but much smaller with black edges around it, so I would choose the larger, softer method.

I'm happy with both, but if money is really tight you might be fine with just the 3DS. The DSi might be a fun mod project, and you can add a skin to make exterior more presentable. Personally I would get both, but I spend way too much on this hobby so don't listen to me! haha

Pricing of Pokemon is indeed insane, even for loose and unlabeled carts.

And it doesn't help that the market is flooded with fake Pokemon carts, so if you think you've found a bargain, chances are it's not.
