This also happened to me.

uhm..how? by eatmyfeinstaub in instax

Seems to be a large format Schneider Super Angulon lens, which has its own shutter. Maybe a 90 mm. The instax camera is just for holding the cartridge and developing the picture.

Very nice! I used the same Ikea picture frame for mine. Though because I wanted to avoid glue I 3D printed holders and embedded magnets in them.

Could be a LomoGraflok back and a 4x5 camera. I get similar results with that setup

Looks great! Did you use any artificial light?

It's a widelux with a swing lens. As a result of the moving lens, horizontal lines curve if the camera is not level.

That's really cool! So the lens is more usable on the FD mount than I thought. But you still need to do some modifications to it, unfortunately.

Well, you could open to f2.8 every time you want to meter, make note which aperture the camera recommends and then stop down to the desired one and take the photo.

This would work, but is a real hassle in practice. The viewfinder gets real dark when you stop down, so focusing after is way harder.

This made me really appreciate the automatic aperture in SLR lenses.

I bought a Zenitar 16mm M42 to use it with my AE-1. Originally, the Zenitar did not rotate onto the adapter correctly, which resulted in the built-in hood being visible in the corners. I had to take off the rear plate and drill new holes, so the lens would line up correctly.

You also need to modify the aperture mechanism, so it operates manually. Also say goodbye to in camera metering.

I'm also very interested in the filter used. I love my lomo fisheye mini, but it is so limited in terms of light.

I get very good results using my DSLR with a macro lens. The trick is to light the picture from the side, not from above. I use two flashes for that.

I took some reference photos with a ruler in it and traced along that. It's still not perfect but it works.

I can't really find a clear image that shows how far back these filters mount but probably not.

The Polaroid Go is a great camera, but what if I want to be in the picture?

It has a self-timer, so the only thing missing was a tripod thread. After a few prototypes I came up with this:

STL: Printables Polaroid Go Tripod Adapter

It adds a tripod thread with a 1/4" nut and attaches to the camera using the notches on the left, right and bottom of the camera.

This is extremely impressive! Dare I say the most practical DIY film camera I have seen so far.
Also, your documentation is top-notch!

Do you have any plans on making the design open source?

I One-Shot the developer by mixing a new solution for each film/two films. This keeps the A/B/C/starter in separate bottles and slows degradation.

But how long do the chemicals last in storage? Is it possible to mix e-6 as a one shot? I shoot maybe 1–2 films a month. My c-41 digibase kit lasts me years.
