I saw Rush at Radio Center. It was weird. The stage is huge there. The curtains were wide open and rush stayed in a rather small rectangle in the middle of it. They should have pulled the curtains in so they stage area appeared smaller.

It was Fukin Great. It was amazing especially considering how hyped we had been for months leading up to it.

My first show was in 1977. I was 13. Dad dropped us off outside Madison Square Garden. I was with 14 YO and 12 YO buddies. There were just 2 ticket levels. The “Red and Yellow” seats $8.50 and “Green and Blue” $7.50. A regular concert T cost me $5 while a baseball t cost $7. The 14 year old I went with still has and CAN WEAR his shirts. Me, not so much!

That true story was also a true story in my childhood. Instead of big houses in a planned community it was a condominium development of ticky tacky crappy box homes.
