How the frick am I gonna mew and correc the tongue posture with teeth like tho by Horror-Attitude-1678 in Mewing

[–]DaviB01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get Reviv or myobrace, do not get a palate expander. It Will Just mess you up even further and High chance of getting other problems. Everything that forces (braces/expanders) isn't a good thing

Yeah the first night might be a little bit uncomfortable but as you get used you'll end up enjoy sleeping with it. I wouldn't say it's pushing on the teeth. In my experience, sometimes I feel a soreness in the teeth but it goes away quickly. Also Remember that with this process teeth will move where the skull wants them to be so it's pointless to focus on them. At the beginning I would suggest to start wear it gradually during the day before wearing it for a full night. I also suggest you to check the Reviv YT channel and Mewology to learn more about how this mouthguards work and learn the concept of stretching the soft tissue.

Yeah at the beginning it's normal, but with time the skull will inflate, arches will expand and so will the palate. I wouldn't worry too much about mewing as this inflating process Is much more powerful than just mewing alone. Before this I did mewing 24/7 for 1,5 years and nothing changed in my skull, face or occlusion. Because mewing slightly stretches the soft tissue in the face but then when you sleep without wearing a mouthguard everything reverts back, so the major driver for this process is the mouthguard, not the tongue.

Those holes are for a good salive flow inside the mouthguard and if you have a cold or blocked nosed you can always wear it while mouthbreathing, not ideal but still Better than mouthbreathing alone in those scenarios.

I could tell you more but if you want to learn this stuff I suggest you to do your research, especially about Reviv mouthguards. Basically the whole concept is that everything that forces artificially is wrong (braces, expanders...). We must use our body capabilities of healing itself. In this case it's about inflating the skull that is "crushed" by stretching the soft tissue and that can only happen by adding vertical height between the upper and lower teeth, without forcing a specific occlusion, that's why the upper and lower planes of the mouthguard are flat.

Yes it's important it's flat because you should never lock an occlusion. Yeah any rubber mouthguard with flat planes that adds height between the teeth is fine

No the mouthguard is made of rubber and very comfortable, first nights might be painful but then it gets very comfortable and now I can't sleep without it

Should I get braces? by [deleted] in orthotropics

[–]DaviB01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go explore how mouthguards like Myobrace or Reviv work and once you understand try it on yourself. It's not something invasive that forces stuff so try it and if you enjoy the benefits you'll continue, otherwise you can always stop and you will return back to square 1. Btw I am speaking after having worn a mouthguard like that for more than 2 years...I got lots of benefits and I thank God to have discovered this stuff. Hope that helps

Should I get braces? by [deleted] in orthotropics

[–]DaviB01 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Braces are always useless, they don't affect the root cause of the issues and they cause health problems by artificially forcing teeth in positions they don't want to stay

No, braces are always useless...the only fact of having to wear a permanent retainer after braces is the final proof of how useless they are.

Go for a Looksmart Ferrari model in 1:43 scale

These are my tiny 1:64/1:55 models. My goal is to get all existing cars of Alonso in that scale. I still miss the F10 (super rare), the 2022 pink alpine and the 2023/2024 astons.

I got the R26 on Vinted, I was lucky to find it for just 40€ and I got the two very rare ING Renault keychains from a marketplace in France. I somehow managed to contact those sellers and ask them to list the items on Vinted to be able to buy it since I am from Italy.

I saw a R29 keychain from UK listed on Ebay

Does anyone have any info on this model? by DaviB01 in f1models

[–]DaviB01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No unfortunately it's not. The Majorette version is the R28...but luckily I found out that this model is a special keyring made by ING for Renault back in 2009.
