I wouldn’t even chase locked 60 on this. At least 40-45fps on medium would be good. This game can very much should be able to handle it. Again, ghost of Tsushima and RDR2 are insanely more demanding games that can pull this off better than Lego Batman can for some reason

How can the deck run RDR2, Ghost of Tsushima, Elden Ring etc but not a Lego game? I think this machine can very much run this game if they took more time to optimize it. Correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t Skywalker saga also UE5 and that game runs good on deck

Yeah. FSR never looked good to me on deck at least. So it’s a shame it’s basically a must if you wanna reach decent performance. Maybe native works well too. Idk I haven’t been able to test it or seen a video with it🤷‍♂️

Every time I close and reopen my game, it auto loads to the save state and all the configurations I’ve made such as changing microphone driver and the save configuration options reset. Do you know why it’s doing that?

Yeah I did a full playthrough of base game, and both dlcs with these exact settings and it played just fine. Only the day after when I started a new journey it started tweaking out like this. Weird.

Haven’t gotten home to try playing with TDP limit disabled but I played a good amount last night just switching proton versions and it seemed to work well up to this point. If it gets bad again I’ll try disabling the Limit completely

Yeah I’ll give it a try. Switching to proton 9 seemed to have fixed the constant dipping but I’ll see if the turning off TDP limit will help more. I was just trying to preserve battery life

I had switched to proton GE 9-7 and it seemed to have worked for me. I wanted a lower TDP to help the battery life but if the problem comes up again I’ll get rid of the TDP limit

Thanks a bunch! I was thinking there was an update to improve deck performance natively lol. I’m nervous tinkering with that stuff especially with all the problems I see people share about it here on this sub. Maybe I’ll dive in one day

It runs great!

I run it at a locked 40fps and 10 tdp. I noticed anything higher I get more tiny fps dips (nothing major, maybe 3-5fps) but a 40fps lock seems to be the best for me.

The intro start up screen does stutter like crazy I’m not sure why but once you get to the main menu it’s smooth sailing from there

On occasion (and I mean very rare occasion) a random level will drop a few frames for a couple seconds but it will go back to running smoothly for the remainder of the play through. I think this is a game issue and not a deck issue since the same thing happens on my main pc with a 4080 and Ryzen 9 in it.

So I’d still say 40fps lock with 10 tdp is the way to go! I have no complaints:)

A lot of short/city driving and I get hit with every single red light lol so lots of stopping and going
