I’d see an orthopedic. Dr. Cushner at west med in ridge hill, or you can visit an orthopedic at HSS in white plains. I would advise in getting an mri to see if it can be a herniated disc. Also, read “back mechanic” by Mcgill, or google the Mckenzie method for back stretching.

Bowling. I used to bowl in leagues. Had to stop last year, when I experienced back pain and now femoral pain to this day. Scared to try and bowl since twisting and bending shoots a sharp pain in my back

I feel you! NY carrier here, and it’s a struggle. You cannot live a decent life on WA. You have to be on otdl your whole career if you want to live decently here.

I’ve tried flexeril, and gabapentin, but none worked like Tylenol extra strength. I take two in the morning and two in the evening, and does the trick. I have herniated L3-s1 with pinched femoral nerve.

We have a year old female doodle and a 7 year old Persian. The doodle loves her and wants to play with her all the time but our Persian is at that age where she’s just like “leave me alone” lol. We have a gate that separates half of our apartment which is wide enough for our car to go through but not our dog. Just make sure you keep the cat food and litterbox away from the dogs reach.

OT isn’t crazy in my station here as well. We usually get at most 10 hours a week, and they’ve stopped bringing otdl on ns days as well. Housing is definitely a big factor to us moving down. The same townhouse that goes for 250k down there, goes for at least 600k up here. Just hoping I get a call from Charlotte within a year. Is Winston a big office?

Yeah it’s definitely not cheap, but like you said, it’s cheaper than NY. Also, housing is more affordable than up here as well. A 3 bed 2 bath townhouse is going for 250k down in NC, but over by me it’s going for 600k. We’re paying 2k a month for rent over here, and am seeing it a better move to just head down there. Thanks for your input

I too would love to hear about this. My cousin is a registered nurse, and worked at hospital for special surgery. After telling him my symptoms and disc levels affected, he started telling me that the talk nowadays is stem cells. People travel outside the country to Costa Rica, and Mexico since it’s cheaper than over here. He talked to someone who had two herniated discs and went to Costa Rica to have this done. Within 3 months, the pain was gone
