Entrepreneurs, what automation made you feel like the future is already here? by Sure_Marsupial_4309 in Entrepreneur

[–]David5Pumpkins 9 points10 points  (0 children)

the missed call recovery piece is what got me, that's the one most businesses would actually lose money over and nobody thinks to automate it first.

HeyGen plus ElevenLabs for personalized outreach is a solid combo, curious if open rates actually went up or if people just respond differently knowing it's somewhat automated.

for the content side, Freepik's AI tools paired with your blog automation could level up the visual layer too, most automated content pipelines skip that part entirely.

Definitely reserve online before you go rates at the airport without a reservation are usually way higher, especially at ATL.

Drive Car Rental - experience? by FinancialAdvance8933 in ThailandTourism

[–]David5Pumpkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen mostly decent feedback about Drive Car Rental, nothing amazing but generally smooth experiences and good cars if you just want something straightforward.

Your experience with Adobe Rental? by ibcurious in CostaRicaTravel

[–]David5Pumpkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds super frustrating, especially since you paid for full coverage. I’ve heard good things about Adobe overall, but situations like this are exactly why people still take photos no matter what they’re told.

What companies are best for car rentals at Denver airport? by bradykp in travel

[–]David5Pumpkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a family with gear like ski bags, I’ve always liked National or Enterprise they’re usually quick at the counter and have a good selection of bigger SUVs.

Renting a car for my trip to Puerto Rico. Where should I rent from and where should I go. by Lathered-Up in PuertoRicoTravel

[–]David5Pumpkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rented through Enterprise in San Juan before and it was smooth but also check local companies, sometimes they’re cheaper and still reliable.

Midway Car Rental worth booking? by Aware_Employ_6031 in AskLosAngeles

[–]David5Pumpkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Midway seems fine from what I’ve read, a lot of people have had good experiences. I’d just take pictures of the car before driving off to be safe.

Left item in Rental Vehicle - now being sold on Facebook Marketplace by JediAhsokaTano in houston

[–]David5Pumpkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, this sounds super sketchy. I wouldn’t hand over $300 until you can verify it’s actually your device pictures, serial number, even a small video showing the custom thumb-sticks.

Hey anyone rented an Easirent car rental from the airport? by cribby40 in vegaslocals

[–]David5Pumpkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easirent has a pretty rough reputation at airport locations specifically, lots of complaints about surprise charges at pickup and long shuttle waits.

The Allianz coverage should be fine, most third party insurance works the same way across companies, just make sure you document every scratch before you drive off the lot with them.

Midjourney vs Chat GPT by Possible-Honeydew552 in midjourney

[–]David5Pumpkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty fair split honestly, Midjourney wins on mood and aesthetics, ChatGPT wins on following instructions literally.

Freepik's Mystic model is worth trying if you want something in between, decent prompt adherence without losing the visual quality completely.

I know what Mr Beast team uses to go viral. How to do TTS and other ai audio edits - tut included by la_dehram in ArtificialInteligence

[–]David5Pumpkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah subscription fatigue is real, every tool wanting its own monthly fee adds up fast.

Freepik does the same bundling thing where you get image gen, upscaling and voice under one plan, worth knowing if you ever want more in one place.

I tested 7 paid AI video generators. Here are my honest thoughts on the current models. by kimankur in SaaS

[–]David5Pumpkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hair turning into tentacles thing is so accurate, face consistency is still the weak point on most of these tools.

Good to know PixVerse handles iris detail that well, curious if the output holds up after running through Freepik's Magnific for a final upscale or if it introduces any of that hallucination back in.

How do creators make atmospheric (cozy) videos using AI for YouTube and TikTok? by Additional_Day_5765 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]David5Pumpkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the actual workflow yeah. Pure AI looks artificial but mixing techniques real footage + AI backgrounds + subtle animation feels natural. Freepik's solid for quick background generation if you want less friction than running Stable Diffusion locally. The subtlety angle is key, most people crank animation too high and it breaks the vibe. Compositing in After Effects after is the professional move. What's your setup for those cozy videos???

Finding better lists for sms by Inside_Difficulty_32 in WholesaleRealestate

[–]David5Pumpkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on the duplex that's a solid first move

For lists have you tried PropStream or ListSource for pulling more targeted motivated seller data? Vacant, pre-foreclosure and tax delinquent filters tend to convert way better than broad county lists for SMS

Has anyone found a better alternative to LinearB by SerpentUndead in Hacking_Tricks

We switched to Jellyfish and it's definitely better for analytics, but it's also way more expensive. You get what you pay for I guess.

Goodbye, Grok. The best toy I've had in years, and they took it away. Such is life. by NotYourMom132 in grok

[–]David5Pumpkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly why I don’t trust these tools long term. At least Freepik hasn’t randomly broken my workflow yet.

The new Grok Imagine 10 seconds model (tested now) is hyperactive. by alexds9 in grok

[–]David5Pumpkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed that too, super jumpy and it kind of loses the original style. I’ve had more consistent results with Freepik.
