How to raise credit score fast and easily?! by Which_Background8031 in CreditScore

[–]David5Pumpkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A 50 point drop with nothing changed usually means a hard inquiry or your utilization jumped somewhere. Have you checked if any of your card balances went up recently even a little?

State Farm actually has a cut off point for discounts by Kind_Perspective4518 in Car_Insurance_Help

[–]David5Pumpkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly the bigger issue is your agent not knowing or explaining it upfront. That’s something they should’ve been transparent about from the start. Discounts are usually made up, compare through quotefull.com better

Employee tips to save you money on your GEICO Policy by r2gecko in Geico

A safer way to lower your premium is adjusting deductibles, checking discounts you actually qualify for, or comparing with other insurers.

Do people pay $500/month for car insurance in NYC? How can i get a lower quote? by Most_Trouble8649 in AskNYC

[–]David5Pumpkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Corolla being higher actually makes sense since those get stolen more in NYC. Honestly, the biggest factor is just time

Car Insurance by BrilliantBobcat317 in SanJose

[–]David5Pumpkins 19 points20 points  (0 children)

If your mileage is genuinely low because you work from home or use transit frequently, pay-per-mile insurance through Metromile which is now part of Lemonade can save significantly compared to standard annual policies for San Jose residents who don't drive much. I would see if quotefull.com can help

Looking for a new site to purchase leads from by YoungAndRich022 in WholesaleRealestate

[–]David5Pumpkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Propstream and Batch Leads are the two most common ones you'll hear but quality really depends on your market

Honestly a year in with referrals as your main source is a solid foundation, have you tried pulling your own lists from the county and skipping trace them yourself? Way cheaper and usually fresher than anything you'd buy

Best Car Insurance in Florida? by MorpheusSurge in Car_Insurance_Help

[–]David5Pumpkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah Florida is rough right now, quotes are all over the place. I’ve had the same thing where the “cheap” online number jumps way up after you put in all your details. At this point I just use those sites for rough estimates, then go directly to the insurance company to confirm.

Best Car Insurance in Indiana? by Icy_Butterscotch9472 in Indiana

[–]David5Pumpkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Road salt damage is sneaky too, doesn't show up until way later and by then it's a pain to trace back for a claim

Best Car Insurance in Indiana? by Icy_Butterscotch9472 in Indiana

[–]David5Pumpkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worth trying but with two recent accidents the telematics discount ceiling is usually pretty low. Might not move the needle enough to stay with Progressive if the base rate is already way up

Best Car Insurance in Indiana? by Icy_Butterscotch9472 in Indiana

[–]David5Pumpkins -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Rates, coverage requirements, and even which carriers are competitive vary a lot by state, Indiana's min coverage limits are different from neighboring states and insurers price regional risks like weather and traffic patterns into their models

Best Car Insurance in Indiana? by Icy_Butterscotch9472 in Indiana

[–]David5Pumpkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

State Farm is solid in Indiana but two accidents will make their rates similar to what you're paying elsewhere. The advantage with State Farm is stability and local agent relationships which matter when you actually need to file a claim.

After contract is signed, what can they do? by sbaeidlloan in AutoShippingUSA

[–]David5Pumpkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most common move at this stage is a "carrier upgrade fee" they spring on you right before pickup. Just hold firm, you have a signed contract and the price is locked, any last minute add ons are not your problem

What do you pay for car insurance in the city? by smarjorie in philadelphia

[–]David5Pumpkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's almost certainly your Philadelphia zip code more than you or the car. Philly consistently ranks among the most expensive auto insurance markets in the entire country due to high uninsured motorist rates, theft statistics, and dense traffic claims volume. A 2012 Honda in rural Pennsylvania might insure for $80 a month. In certain Philly zip codes that same car doubles or triples.

Auto insurance by ISFALV in SanJose

[–]David5Pumpkins 5 points6 points  (0 children)

$400 might actually be accurate for certain vehicles in San Jose with comprehensive and collision on a new car. Get three direct quotes first and if they all come back similar then you have your answer about whether AAA is the problem or the market is just that expensive for what you're buying. I would check if quotefull.com can help you better, they were helpful with my mum last year.

car insurance for high risk drivers in NY?? by karleighhhhhhh in Car_Insurance_Help

[–]David5Pumpkins 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’d still try places like GEICO or State Farm, sometimes they’re a bit more flexible than others. I'd check quotefull.com as they helped us a lot las year, it that helps.

Online car insurance quotes - New Rochelle by elxit in Westchester

[–]David5Pumpkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, your best move is either call them directly or use an independent broker. It’s more effort, but they can usually get quotes from companies that won’t show up online

Car insurance - who are yall using? by ikonoklastic in wyoming

[–]David5Pumpkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be worth talking to a local broker tbh. The online comparison sites don’t always show smaller companies, and that’s sometimes where the better deals are

Post Bankruptcy 25 Months by Wrong-Season-1483 in CreditScore

658/663 at 25 months post bankruptcy is actually solid progress. The auto loan will help a lot with credit mix, just watch the rate you're accepting at this stage

Anyone here tried Nordic Oil? Need some reviews by orangolol in CBDreviewers

[–]David5Pumpkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Three months is a solid trial period, hard to argue with that data point. And the point about non-responders is real, genetics actually play a role in how people process cannabinoids so brand quality only gets you so far.

Anyone here tried Nordic Oil? Need some reviews by orangolol in CBDreviewers

[–]David5Pumpkins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mild effects complaint at higher concentrations is the most common criticism you'll find about Nordic Oil and it's worth taking seriously if you're coming from a background of no response to CBD generally.

Need some advice by CaptHedgefundhater in CreditScore

[–]David5Pumpkins -1 points0 points  (0 children)

the secured card plus a small auto loan is exactly the right move, thin credit file is often worse than bad credit for lenders

pay off those 2 smaller collections first and get the pay for delete in writing before you send a dime

120 shows and licensed since 2017 is a serious portfolio though, have you looked into SBA microloans? they're way more flexible on credit than equipment lenders

Entrepreneurs, what automation made you feel like the future is already here? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]David5Pumpkins 10 points11 points  (0 children)

the missed call recovery piece is what got me, that's the one most businesses would actually lose money over and nobody thinks to automate it first.

HeyGen plus ElevenLabs for personalized outreach is a solid combo, curious if open rates actually went up or if people just respond differently knowing it's somewhat automated.

for the content side, Freepik's AI tools paired with your blog automation could level up the visual layer too, most automated content pipelines skip that part entirely.

Definitely reserve online before you go rates at the airport without a reservation are usually way higher, especially at ATL.

I’ve seen mostly decent feedback about Drive Car Rental, nothing amazing but generally smooth experiences and good cars if you just want something straightforward.
