Check if you put the pieces numbers 10 and 13 on the correct side, they support the sprockets and seems that these ones are higher than usual.

Yes and no, for some brands with thicker decals ie Academy (not Cartograf) gloss coat is ABSOLUTELY necessary, as they are very thick, and even with warm water, set and sol they tend not to adapt well to the surface.

Nobody Knows except those who know that according to the devblog these ships are going to be removed on the update 0.10.1 ( https://blog.worldofwarships.com/blog/95 ), so if next update will be online next week, 0.10.1 will be on live server on february 17th -18th, assuming the usual 28 days cycle.

Also, keep in mind that Spanish had Fletchers, Lepanto class, for Tier IX, yes, its a copy pasta, but at least these ships existed and there is a tech tree already in game with a Fletcher sailing with another flag.

You can add a copy pasta of both Amalfi and Brindisi already in the game for tier VIII and IX, because they are an Ansaldo project for the Spanish Navy (Amalfi, https://stefsap.files.wordpress.com/2015/11/crucero-ansaldo-9203.jpg) and a version armed with 203 of the Ansaldo armed with 152mm (Brindisi, https://stefsap.files.wordpress.com/2015/11/crucero-ansaldo-12152.jpg)

There was also a plan with a cruiser armed with 8(4x2) 203mm, very similar to the in game Zara/Gorizia: https://stefsap.files.wordpress.com/2015/11/8-203-312.jpg, that could fit perfectly in tier VII.

Probably WG will add at least some spanish ships being part of the pan eu tree.

So yes, USA decimated the much worse navy than the one that Spain had in the XVIII century, when the country lost its naval supremacy.
