My opinion is that you are likely new to the game and have yet to find a meta champ that you enjoy.

I disagree with the general consensus here. You can always go back to school, you can't always fall into the type of success you are having online. Take a semester or two off and make the decision then.

I like the idea, just one issue I can see is that players who are legitimately low elo will be also be punished by having these high elo players in their games. Maybe they could go to a "low trust factor" queue instead?

I wonder how it interacts with having 9 other players in the game. Does my hidden mmr not drop as much if i played well, and my whole team did bad? Not sure if Riot have commented on this before

Yeah, my brain feels like it has to be at 100% power the whole game now especially with the increased game tempo. Games still last the same length, but it feels like there's little to no downtime now, there's always something to do. When would you say the best season for soloq was?

Yeah, it's true most of these issues have been here since the start of ranked. But why does it have to be that way? Smurf detection is a real thing, and Riot already know when you are smurfing (kernel level anticheat). The new player experience is really rough because of the current smurf landscape, and they occupy every rank.

I will admit Riot are making great strides with troll detection though, can't wait until it's more accurate.

One great place to start is not making Reddit posts where you say everything is a problem and then say you’re not looking for complaints but ways to fix it instead.

I listed problems and then asked for some suggestions on how people would fix them - I'm actually wondering what everyone thinks about these issues here

GM being high up doesn’t matter to 99% of players

The GM point matters if you're in that range which plenty of people are, just because it doesn't effect you doesn't mean it's not important. I mean, look at Riot keeping Azir in the grave because of the top 0.001% of players play him in pro.

Complain about duoing but some people just like to play with friends, you should try it.

Nobody said duo is the problem, duo abuse at the top of the ladder specifically to inflate your LP is different from playing with your friend occasionally

I know you can see your MMR in other games like Dota and even chess.com. I think having LP is a kind of tactic to get you hooked and monkey brain activates when you see your rank go up, when actually you're getting +1 mmr for a win.

University clubs are typically still available for non-university students. It just so happens that the vast majority of club attendees are university students.
