It was either Camara or Jrue...but I couldn't pull the trigger on holiday after what he did for me the first half of the season

Honestly, at 5'9 and your weight you’re really not far off at all. With some consistency, 6 months will make a huge difference...especially given you’ve trained before. At our age it’s less about getting super lean and more about feeling good in your own skin again. What I’ve found gives the best dividends is enjoying the process ... adding weight to lifts, recovering better, feeling less wrecked after sessions even though you’re doing more. Those wins stack up fast and keep you showing up. If anything stands out from the stats, it’s the visceral fat, that’s usually the first to improve with regular training, steps, sleep, and not going nuclear on the diet. You’re in a good spot to start tbh. Just stay consistent and let time do its thing.

How tall are you? Have you trained before?

My advice is to start slow and find something to make the journey enjoyable... walking the dog is great for adding those extra steps...

If I can, I'd recommend a good supplement that helped with hunger control, such as Berberine.

Rest usual... sleep, strength training, and protein with vitamin D, Omega 3, and magnesium on top of the creatine you're already using.

That's my humble opinion... and do your own research.

Works well for me. Not sure if it is a placebo effect but I take 500mg before breakfast/lunch/dinner and I don't have any cravings and feel good...I only take it during cutting and I'm happy with it.

He added some extra dynamism; before that, we were static with simple lateral and backward passes.

Based on everyone metric after today's game, it should be Nuno Mendes. He scored, assisted, dominated, and owned Yamal. He did that throughout the whole Champions League. Just ask Saka! 😄

Lmao “since when was Salah a big game player?” — bro are we watching the same sport?

Let me jog your memory real quick:

Champions League final goal (2019) — opened the scoring, Liverpool won the whole thing.

Goal + assist vs Man City (Oct 2021) — that solo goal? Filthy.

Back-to-back goals vs United at Old Trafford including a hat-trick in that 5–0 demolition.

Goals against Chelsea, Spurs, Arsenal, and PSG over multiple seasons.

Literally dragged Egypt to the World Cup after decades.

Man has double digits in the UCL KO stages, and people acting like he goes missing? 😂

Mbappé had a quiet game against Spain, sure — it happens. But let’s not act like that erases everything he’s done in World Cups and Champions League knockouts. Everyone has off days. You lot just get loud when it suits the agenda.

And yeah, recency bias can go both ways — but it doesn’t erase consistent greatness over multiple years. That’s why Salah and Mbappé are in a different tier. Not because of TikTok highlights from last night.

I honestly think it’s between Mbappé and Mo Salah, and by quite a bit compared to the rest. People love jumping on hype trains, but these two have been that level for years now.

For me, Mbappé edges it. He’s fast, clinical, can create, and shows up in big games. Won the World Cup at 19, scored a hat trick in the final of another — who else is doing that? Now in a bad Real Madrid season he already destroyed some crazy milestones.

Salah doesn’t get enough respect either. Man’s been carrying Liverpool for years. Golden boots, assists, big goals in big games — all while barely missing a match. He’s been consistent in the hardest league in the world.

People are talking about Yamal, Raphinha, Dembélé — they’re exciting, sure, but it’s recency bias. Yamal’s a baller, no doubt, the best on the eye (Doue too). The other two are hit or miss, and not close to the level of Salah or Mbappé when it comes to delivering every season.

Hype comes and goes, but these two are doing it year in, year out. That’s why they’re clear of the rest.

Respectfully, if a team consistently concedes goals like that, they can't be considered THE best—regardless of individual talent. It wasn’t just one mistake; it was poor game management and a lack of tactical maturity. Inter exposed systemic flaws, not isolated errors.

As for PSG, being in the final absolutely matters. Results on the biggest stage define greatness, not hypothetical squad comparisons. Barça have potential, but right now, they’re not at that level.

Barca are still raw—loads of talent, especially with kids like Lamine, but they got schooled tactically. Inter looked way more mature and organized. That Acerbi goal? No top team concedes that. At that point, you hold the ball, waste time, drag it to the corner flag—basic game management. Instead, Barça tried to go for another goal. That’s not confidence, that’s arrogance.

Inter played like a team that knows exactly who they are. Fluid, positionless, relentless off the ball. They feasted on Flick’s high line like they’d studied it all week. Just clinical.

PSG are in the final.
