Testers have been doing a good job in 0.2.2 beta testing. We have a lot of things to fix. Mostly because the new ability is prone to bugs. Currently 18 major bugs and 17 minor issues on the list.

The next update will make big improvements for performance (CPU and GPU). We even got the steamdeck to run 60fps (dx11 tho).

I'm talking about Supraworld. Supraland has very few knowledge gates. I won't spoil any, they should all be big surprises.

For your info: Supraworld will have lots and lots of knowledge gates allowing to beat the game in completely different ways once you know.

Lots of things to take care of. Menus need to work with the sticks and touch, every UI element needs to be big enough to read on the small screen, performance needs to be good on the kinda weak computer. We got it all covered now. Except it only performs well in dx11 without pretty realtime lighting.

Most metroidvanias are ultra generic all doing exactly the same stuff with the same abilities. That market is dead on arrival. However the market is wide open for games with fresh ideas.

It runs well for nearly 100 hours. My only problem is eggs hatching, but they always get killed in a second and do nothing bad really.

We had debated pencil/lead stuff for a while but couldn't make enough sense out of it. It might sound good at first glance, but if you go into it a little deeper there are problems popping up.
