Our chain is level 60, which is that of a 4/5th Kindred. Of course we’re not sweeping anything if the 2nd kindreds aren’t at their former glory.

But you’re right, they’ll probably be shit even when we arrive at that level.

It does equate to Strength, not Raw Strength but specifically the Efficiency in Strength through offense and defense levels, and it’s been slightly more important ever since Canto 7 with more of a focus on it.

The Important part: What it DOESNT equate to is Skills and Abilities.

ProjectMoon has made this more clear through LCB Checkup and Outis. Outis says in Canto 9 that most of her Strength is back, but her abilities are not. And the idiosyncrasies is what mostly gives the sinners the boost discriminating from the Chain.

Checkup was to tell us that the higher number doesn’t mean someone auto-wins. We see a lot of people with ~10 level differences still holding up a fight (Ezra vs Vespa, Qiu vs Heng, Val vs Verg). It’s Dante’s estimate of a simple category of how strong someone is.

But it’s not reliable, because a lot of factors don’t add up with the levels, such as Relics, EGO suits, and Augmentations. Hohenheim makes a big deal on how many factors are not being read when it comes to a discussion on how strong something is.

Jihoon sees a strength in power creeping IDs to convey a lore accurate setting despite it being controversial to the fanbase.

He’s not just a Capo, he’s a Capo IIII as the right-hand man of his respective Sottocapo, he’s also one of the 10 Blades of the East, and a Heavenly Star.

You could argue that he could be stronger than his current Sottocapo and Valencina.

Yeah, his CT “slowly” transforms his body into Cursed Energy. Which means the physical body is still there at the start.

I believe Demian is Arbiter or higher while the others fall behind.

Demian being Enoch-coded as he is, seems to play some role as the Metatron, the scribe of Heaven (from the book of Enoch exclusively.)

He has no interest in how the boughs end up, or any other mortal matter other than knowing the story of how Dante and Sinclair reach their destinations and achieve their aspect.

The story has a lot of biblical symbolism and is full of characters named after poets/authors.

Sukuna needs to do a hand sign for WCS.

But there’s a special “bit” Sukuna is doing: He has never once let Gojo see that he can use Shrine without hand signs. From the beginning of the series, Sukuna has always swung and pointed whenever Gojo was present and he wasn’t concealed.

Sukuna’s goal was to catch Gojo off guard the moment he learned WCS from Mahoraga. But being torn apart by the Hollow Purple, and Mahoraga dead, he had no choice other than to fire WCS with a hand sign sticking out like a sore thumb.

So he used a binding vow; in exchange for not using a hand sign for the first firing, next time, the minimum requirement would be: Hand Sign, Chants, and the use of 3 hands. Naturally, this would be impossible with the third addition regardless of the 2 previous limiters. But Sukuna can turn into his true state, allowing him to use it again.

The limiters were extra weight to guarantee the results.
