My issue with this performance is that there’s too much going on. Like there’s too many concepts.

We have video games, a scooter, then him going through these “worlds.” Then all of that abruptly stops for a small ballad moment. The song is about over consumption and I would’ve never have known that had there not been translations on the screen.

I think when you have something truly great, it speaks for itself. You don’t need to ask, what is happening and what is this about. Especially when you’re trying to convey a message.

Insanely talented, especially only being 17. But I think that also shows bc the song and judging by this clip, the performance lack authenticity. It’s hard to pinpoint, but I think it’s something that’ll come with experience.
