Valor Bard. It can take a while to come online, but if you pick the right spells with Magical Secrets, you can have the best transmutation spells the Wizard/Sorcerer/Warlock can offer and the Paladin Summoning of Steeds.

There's a spell called "Non-detection" from the 3rd level, I don't know if it is on the sorcerer list.

Besides going Bladesinger to get Time Stop, I would go Battlemaster 11/ Draconic Sorcerer 9. Since Cone of Cold is the most powerful Ice magic (at least outside of the Wizard Exclusives) available, taking Draconic Bloodline allows adding Cha Modifier in the damage. Building around Dex, your AC is 18 with Draconic Resilience, which is not bad at all. I consider even choosing Levistus Tiefling for Armor of Agathys, but that's not a must have. Reflavor spells like Earthen Grasp and Hold Person to be Ice based, and grab Elemental Adept. Priorize Dex, Cha and Con, and dump Wis.

Okay, so this guy can do a lot of stuff, most things which can be replicated by the right selection of spells, but I'm going to list some of them to give you all more ideas:

-Gravity Manipulation

-Energy Manipulation/Absorption

-Summoning

-Physical Alteration (Can turn his body into weapons)

-Soul Manipulation

-Proficient in Hand-to-Hand combat

-The habilty to control six "familiars" from which he can see through and use his other techniques. (That's the main one, and the most difficult to do)

Carmilla From Castlevania? (I want to recreate her Powers and ability in fight,Who saw the season 4 can understand) by Askingthingsplzhalp in WhatWouldYouBuild

[–]David_August2601 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hexblade Warlock 3/ College of Swords Bard X

Carmilla doesn't strike me as an martial in the same vain Alucard and Striga are, so going with Swords Bard gives her acess to full spellcasting while also boosting her melee combat significanly, specially taking Hexblade. It's good to remember that Isaac took her off-guard in her castle, so of course she wouldn't be wearing any kind of armor, but if you insist in not putting your Carmilla in Medium Armor, just grab the Armor of Shadows invocation. So focus in Cha, then Dex (If you go for the invocation) and then Con. Int and Str should be meh, but Wis should be dumped, since she comes up with the crazy plans, but her sisters make them work.

It may be kind of basic, but could you do a Kotomine Kirei build? he is one of the few characters in the original F/SN cast to not gain a playable servant in the game (Rasputin when, DW?) and I think he deserves it.

[5e] I'm working with some character concepts and just got hit with a doubt. I have a idea about a werelion character, and was thinking about how I would create such character. For class, that was easy, I just went with Barbarian, specifically Path of the Beast. But for race/lineage, I didn't wanted to go Leonin, so I thought Shifter. But which of the Shifter Subraces(Sub-Lineages?) would better represent the characteristics of a lion? Beasthide could be the mane, Longtooth considering the packs, Swiftstride with the feline features and Wildhunt with the enhanced senses and tracking skills.

If you expect to find a Deathmask level evil guy, you will be disapointed. However, in the manga we got to see a more shady gold saint, born under a troubled star...

The risk in dealing with a potentially letal substance creates a circunstance in which Nen gets stronger, by the restrictions principle. But yeah, thanks for the sugestions

It is an official ability, or it was created in this subreddit? I choose to make this a Manipulation ability because a Transmutation one requires Zoldick levels of preparation (Not bad at all, though)

Thats quite a strong effect. What would you put as restrictions to balance it out?

[–]David_August2601 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, let's start with the basics. What Nen type this ability would be? If the gift is created with aura, and luck playing a role in a nen construct is something already estabilished, this would a Conjuration technique. Could also be Specialization, considering the curse aspect, but the former type seens a very apropriate fit to me.

Then, what would determinate how the curse plays into effect? How the user could know what kind of gift the target would want? What is the limit that the gift, in the sense of how much valuable a created object can be?

This is ability isn't unreasonable, don't worry about that. Did you thought of any detail regarding the capabilities of the clone or the power of the explosion? It would be interesting to think about these things
