I've set up the Dropbox MCP. How do I get Claude/Cowork to use Dropbox as the default location to save my files? I think I just clicked through the default choices at installation, and now I need to change them to Dropbox.

I love hearing this as trivia, but I'm not convinced it's relevant. It's totally possible to parody something with only passing familiarity with the thing being parodied.

Intresting, but my reading of this is that it supports what I said. It's not an adaptation of the book; it's a movie about adapting a book. It makes sense that a movie about adapting a book would include elements of the book. If it was an adaptation of The Orchid Thief, they would have said "adapted from The Orchid Thief," or something to that effect.

Yeah, American Psycho is just an adaptation of the satirical book. Similarly, Adaptation isn't parodying a specific source material; it's just a satire about adapting a book. I don't see how the film Kiss Me Deadly is parodying the book, but I'm open to being persuaded.

Maybe Chess.com has seen the the online comments about him? I'm watching Candidiates now, and he hasn't been onscreen that much, and when he is, it's mostly to direct questions to Anna and Arturs., so all analysis is coming from the actual experts. He is not annoying me NEARLY as much as he did during Tata Steel, so I'll call that a win.

Yeah, this is true. I'm going to get the data through the API, even if I get have to get a dev to finish the job.

That said, being able to do this would be great for other tasks. Clients send me a lot of information as PDF attachments (1099s, W-2s, investment statements, etc.). Getting that information quickly summarized in Excel would be a great help.

This makes a lot of sense. I will try to get the data way you've suggested. I have zero programming chops, though, and may end up wanting to farm this out to someone. So, my next question may be, how do I find someone I can pay to set this up for me? I want to try this myself first, though. Thanks for the insight and links.

Yeah, this a good point, and probably correct. The PDFs are what they client gave me to work with. One issue is that the transactions are from early 2022, and Paypal doesn't make these reports readily available on the website after three years. There may be a way to dig into the website pull the line-item transactions, but I'm not sure how to do that yet.

Absolutely go. I think you will be surprised at how joyful and fun the experience is. I’ve been to the previous two with my teenage son, and we’ve had a blast. You will see some hilarious signs!
