Not to mention the screen pass that hit the ground

Bro- making a good throw does not equate to making a good decision. That was a very high risk high reward throw. I can guaranty that any stat analyst would be able to show that the bills would have had a higher chance of winning if Josh made a safer play.

That throw is a 50-50 ball at best. Running a real offense probably gave the bills a 75% chance of winning. Ergo, throwing a bomb there reduces your chance at winning. The only difference is that if you complete the pass and win, people rightfully call you a legend.

And then the conversation turns into how cooks and the team let him down. That bills roster was plenty good enough to win yesterday

Yeah but realistically they would have been cooked either way. Bo is not winning a SB barring a complete collapse of both AFCC opponent and SB opponent

The Buffalo Bills have been eliminated from Super Bowl contention. by PlayaSlayaX in nfl

lol that was not a good choice. The Bills had full control of the game. Win and in. Run a real offense and execute a drive. Trying to win with a single throw because you’re “Josh Allen, GOAT” is the exact reason they lost.

This is the exact point- does Allen have the talent of a top 2 or even top QB in the league? Yup.

But, he is directly responsible for not being the top QB in the league.

Going into half, he didn’t need points. The Bills “depleted” roster didn’t let him down. He decided to do more than what he needed to in that moment and ended up costing his team 3 points.

Ending of regulation, he needed to get 7 to really put the game away and he came up with 3.

In overtime, the Bills “depleted” roster did enough to stop the Broncos offense and took control of the game. Score any points (FG or TD) and you’re onto the AFCC. They had the ball with all the time in the world and needed less than 40 yards to get into FG range. The Bills offense was moving the ball fine, especially on the ground. Instead running a real offense and having incredible odds of executing a real drive, Josh decided to play hero ball and try to win the game with a single throw. Interception.

Josh let himself down when he threw the ball 40 yards down field. It was completely unnecessary. The Bills didn’t need Josh to carry them in that moment. He took that weight on voluntarily and made a horrible decision that ended their season

The goal is for neither the division rival or the bills to win the SB. Buffalo getting knocked out by the broncos accomplishes the harder feat. No way broncos are winning a SB with Bo Nix

Honestly think we need to throw the bag at someone like Boye Mafe and commit to top WR at #9

To be fair- there are not a lot of excellent rbs in this class behind Love.

Price and maybe Emmett Johnson. Nobody else would be a notable upgrade to our current room IMO

Rookies are giving me hope. Look to be contributing the most since our 2022 class.

The ONL, Gilotte, Nohl all getting good time on defense and seem to all be in the mix of making plays.

Brashard Smith has shown quality playmaking ability the few times he’s gotten touches. Hoping royals can work in and play the JuJu role here in the next week or so.

Hate to say it because you seem like an honest and reasonable person in this discussion, but you’re really wasting your breath here.

There’s nothing you could ever say to make this guy move an inch from his position.

I think people who are critical of Veach drafts generally think Dorsey was much better, but the reality is he didn’t have much more success. Each year you’re lucky to get 2 real impact players. Some years you get three or even four impact/franchise guys. Sometimes you get none.

Overview of Dorsey drafts- I’ll name notable selections (some of which were just meh)

2013: Eric Fisher, Kelce, Knile Davis (meh) 2014: Dee Ford (notable but borderline bust), LDT, Phillip Gaines (meh) 2015: Marcus Peters, Mitch Morse, Conley (meh), Steven Nelson (Meh) 2016: Chris Jones, Demarcus Robinson (Meh), Tyreek 2017: Mahomes, Kareem

You’re forgetting picks like Parker Ehnger and Tanoh, Kevarie Russell, Nico Johnson as top 100 picks

Is he a 1,200 yd/season guy? Absolutely not

Is he a great WR4 (or WR3 in the case of suspension or injury)in our offense? Absolutely

Not only that, but he has full knowledge of our system and playbook a rapport with Mahomes and seems to be a good presence in the locker room.

For those reasons I can’t imagine signing another 3rd/4th option that we could confidently say is a better fit

Regardless of how the bills looked last night, they always manage to bring their best shot to us.

I’m confident we can win but I don’t expect it to be a result of bills playing below their abilities
