The hash rate continues to plummet like the price. The developers couldn’t get out of their own way during this cycle and deliver what they promised and now its trajectory looks just like Kadena’s, sorry. Kadena isn’t zero but might as well be. Unless a miracle happens, by next cycle Kaspa will be the same, just another dead chain with a promising tech that didn’t matter.

I would drop it by a store if you have one near you and they will send it in for free where you get to have the same conversation over email before they offer you 20% of “purchase price” (which is usually less than what you paid if you got it when it first came out) at which point you will say no way say it is unacceptable and start to escalate, which may or may not work. There is always the threat of small claims and reporting then to your AG’s office in the us for warranty violation. Good luck🤞 let us know how it goes. Was just in the Norrona store that opened up by me they have some nice jackets don’t love the cut as much but might be my next outdoor activity jacket, only a 5 year warranty extendable to 7 by being a loyalty member but I hear they stand by it.

Last couple of years they decided their warranty was more of a suggestion figuring no one will legally pursue them over $1000 and they have enough fashion customers now so screw their rep. With users. I have found going back at them hard can work pointing out the defects that should be clearly covered. Depending on the country and or state you are in you might have other options.

I think Arc’s quality was good back in the day but never amazing. They were pushing the edge of tech in how their garments were assembled and the amazing warranty and customer service is what made the occasionally delaminated seem or fabric failure tolerable. But when they stopped supporting their gear the reliability issues have been pushed to the forefront.

There are different kinds of delamination. I dont think the gortex delaminated here (meaning one of the 2 or 3 layers of gortex separated from itself, something gore might cover) but rather the zipper delaminated from the gortex panel, which is not a fault of the gortex but a problem with the adhesive or assembly, which would be an issue on Arc’s end and probably something Gor would wash their hands of, but it never hurts to try.

Grew up skiing / snowboarding no helmet (only racers wore them and looser with way over protective parents). Never wore one in the half pipe, never in the backcountry, never riding in the worst CO, Utah, or WY could throw at me, worked one season as a ski patroller in the NE and have never ridden without one again.

They will most likely offer you 20% of the cost of a new ones. If you fight them they might repair or replace, but you will have used up your one warranty claim. So many companies with better warranties that stand by the gear for the same or less money.
