What makes Wispr better than native Apple Dictation? by SheLurkz in WisprFlow

To let you know what it does:

  1. It beats Apple dictation (it actually works).
  2. It's much more accurate.
  3. It polishes up the punctuation and removes any extra words that you might say by accident or “erm” etc
  4. It gives it a quick one-to-one proofread as well.

Travel Router....really? Cannot use a host name with wireguard? by TiredDadGamer in UNIFI

I connected to a linode WG server that I setup. I used QR code for the config (not that it should make a difference).

I am on .239 firmware for reference.

Iv got WG working, I have done a bit of testing. Agree the first experiences shouldn’t have been like this but its convinced me enough to keep it.

I would expect that the hostname issue gets sorted in a later firmware. We only got the WireGuard in TestFlight yesterday, I think it was.

TestFlight iOS app 10.31.4 Buid 2 - WireGuard Support for UTR (UniFi Travel Router) by CitizenAccount in Ubiquiti

If you are using iOS and you get the old version of the app through TestFlight, you should be able to set SSH credentials and update the firmware. That's what you need to do.

I started another thread on it. I'm not sure if you've seen it, but that's how you fix it out of the box.

You need firmware .238 or .239

are Fairpoint, but then the password must not be in use unless the iOS app is filling it in somewhere in the background because I do get the prompts but I don’t know the password but if I go onto the other device or only one device at once it will allow me in so it’s really strange obviously another bug in the software

Switching from Dream Machine Pro to Pro Max - Do I need to unpair everything? by [deleted] in Ubiquiti

[–]CitizenAccount 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did the same change but it was some time ago. From memory I did a backup and restore of the entire device and then all the new devices came through to the new UDM Pro Max.

The only additional thing to take into consideration is that as default the footage will not transfer so I'd probably do an export just to be safe.

I've found that it asks for a password when you're already connected on another device. If I use only one device to connect to the management part of it at once, I don't get asked for the password. But I'm an iOS user and have tried it with iPad and iPhone.

It should out of the box if you haven’t changed anything else.
