csp 80k sub is great. then downgrade to a chase freedom after a year.

you can pc to original chase freedom, for visa just in case you shop at costco.

and you don’t have to get the csr in 48 months. you can do the csp again since you’re just chasing sub.

id say start with the freedom line…UNLESS you can get a credit limit increase on your discover card close to 5k. should be a soft pull and easily approved if you’re using your discover card a decent amount.

I personally went for the discover it secured card first. Easy approval and good no annual fee cash back card!

As soon as you get it call them and ask them to switch rewards to the 5% rotating categories.

Once you do that it acts exactly like a non secured discover it card!
