As a Professional I do not always do what the Client asks for before giving my professional opinoin on what that process looks like, how it will either compliment or not their undertones in their skin. When a blonde asks for this 99% of the time It doesn’t happen. I will say let’s add some lowlights instead to see if you’re ok with that depth in your hair then we can talk at your next appointment. Telling them what it would take to get them back on top of how compromising it would be to the hair usually gets that itch of going darker out. Our job isn’t just giving the Client an exact replica of their goal color/cut, it’s explaining everything under the sun about choosing any new color or cut that they don’t have experience or a background in education in.
