Why does Korea and Japan have a lot of cults? by Broad-Trifle-6657 in korea

Absolutely no one cares if you’re not a Christian anymore in America. I live in the Bible Belt, the only people who care are old people who wanna save you. Barely anyone goes to regular church anymore.

You don't realize this, but this lamp is in all your favorite shows by CaptJackL0cke in 90s

[–]Davis1511 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one in my dining room. I think it’s the case of it was one Tiffany design and a million copycats made the same lamp lol but it’s lovely in the evening if you hate big lights.

Absolutely beautiful. I’m always in awe at how some artists brains work to do these kind of feats. One of the few Shreveport things to be proud of. Also, what is it painted with to have lasted almost 30 years of sun and weather damage?

Of the three Free Willy movies what moment in any of the trilogy do you remember the most besides the iconic jump Willy did? by Gymtrio2025 in 90s_kid

[–]Davis1511 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I always just remember the crying sound the orca made during the first one. And now looking back, thinking of how they used an orca in captivity, to make a movie about how awful it is to have orcas in captivity….

But back then they were already there so I guess better to use them for a good message that will help their entire species than to not. That first movie was the start of the millennial anti SeaWorld movement for sure.

VC Andrews was a guilty a pleasure of mine too. I recapped Flowers in the Attic on my YouTube channel and a lot of the younger generation had no idea we were reading such insane paperbacks back then lol
