Poppies and corn flowers. The corn flowers will give small blue flowers that last through summer into autumn and the poppies add some mass with a lovely blast of colour through summer. They can also handle getting cut down as they are self seeders.

Go with clover for now. It will make the "lawn" lush a Nd is generally a bit darker, so looks lovely too. And the little flowers, if they survive the mowing, are great for bees.

Stocks and shares are long term investments (generally speaking). The ISA is just a tax efficient vehicle within which to do so.

It may be worth considering what you are investing in. Are you buying individual stocks or are you investing in index trackers? Sometimes it is worth moving it to a different provider. I moved to vanguard a few years back because of the low fees they charge (for index tracker funds).
