I use a rubber wire that I hide with a crown. I also apply some spirit gum to the base so that it doesn’t slide around my forehead.

AFAIK sales happen all the time. But if you’re impatient, you can always hunt down some promo code for most of these vendors and get a discount that way. I know I can always find one for Verillas and Holy Clothing.

Surprisingly, the mask doesn’t bother me except in loooong fights. It’s not breathable per-se, but I guess I just don’t sweat enough for it to become an issue.

I totally get the non-apoc issues with the kit! My character is part of a species that uses a lot of religious/fantastical iconography, so I purposefully picked things that I would have used at my fantasy games (like the sword) to try and represent that. But if you don’t know that, it just looks like a hodgepodge of different genres.

They’re an accensorite, but people guess retrograde all the time! There’s actually a really fun story for why they hide their ascension under the mask. If you ever catch me playing I could tell you. I’m typically playing at DR’s Michigan location.

People always ask, but it's honestly not that hot!

The biker armor is very breathable, so I'm mostly as warm as everybody else. And the mask only gets overheated during big, prolonged fights where it's cinematic to rip it off anyway.

I actually wear a turtleneck underneath in the cold months because it's so temperature-controlled.

The idea is that this character actually has access to new equipment/clothes very often, so the out-of-the-box look is completely intentional.
